Normally, I always know what to do when it comes to boys. After a nasty break up and a long term relationship its been hard for me. I really like this boy, Ben. He's the popular guy at school that everyone loves, but I'm just average. He's nice to me, he thinks I'm pretty, and he flirts. But I don't know how to tell if I'm different to him then all of the other girls at school. I've liked him for a while now, but I have no idea if I should tell him or what I should do.
Oh trust me, I have been here. Many times. Ben sounds like a lovely guy and the fact that he flirts means he has noticed you. How does he act around other girls? Does he flirt with them too? I think you should at first try and become better friends with Ben. Find out what he's interested in, show him how cool you can really be. Inviting him out with friends as well is a good idea just to the cinema or out to town or something.
Once you've got to know him a bit better, see how he acts now, if you see something happening between you two in the future then go for it. Tell him. And if he doesn't return your feelings, then he clearly is not worth it and doesnt deserve you.

I really want to get in shape, i've been wanting to loose weight for so long. I'm about 5'0 125 lbs. I got pregnant not to long ago and lost 20 pounds; i did weigh 145. I decided not to have the kid, but now i still weigh 125. When i started seeing the scale go down, i started crying. I couldn't fit into a 7 or 9 for that matter, and now i wear a 7. My stomach and thighs still arent small anough so i was wondering if i went and jogged and walked in the park with my dog everyday would i loose some weight. I'm also addicted to sweets so that's something i have to work on too. Thank you for your time.
First of all, try not to think about the pressure that you've put upon yourself that makes you want to lose weight. You are beautiful and no-one can change that.
Jogging and walking in the park with your dog is a great way to lose weight and you will also turn it into a fun activity so you are definitely going along the right lines!!
The sweets problem, every time you eat sweets, clean your teeth, constantly going to the bathroom will annoy you and this might put you off eating so many sweets. A good technique to get you off the sweets as well is to sit down for a while with a sweet in your hand, close your eyes and visualise the food you hate the most mixed with sweets and then mixed with something really disgusting like dog poo...hopefully this will also put you off sweets.
Exercise, a healthy diet and sensible eating patterns are the best ways to lose weight.

I dropped out of school last January, and i started homeschooling because i was failing all my classes in public school. Ever since i've started homeschooling, i never want to do it. and alot of the times i don't. I really need to get motivated, but i think i need help from somebod. Problem is i don't know who. My parents work all the time so they are out of the question. any advice on how to get motivated because this can effect my future. I'll be 17 in the 9th grade and i feel so embarrised.
Motivation is such an important thing, especially when it comes to school work and having a lack of it is tough. (I speak from experience)
Think about where you see yourself in the next 10years, what do you want to be, set your mind on a career and think about what work you have to do to get to it. If it really is your dream job then it will motivate you to work. Make it fun, talk to your homeschool tutor, see if she/he can do something to make the lessons more exciting and appealing to you.
Talk to a friend, someone close to the family or a sibling, someone you're close to who isn't a parent.
