I am in a school production of Bye Bye Birdie. I think I am doing OK with the memorization of my lines, but sometimes I foget where to go and don't know how to dramatize certain parts. (I play Mrs. Peterson, a huge over-reactor) i am usually good at giving advice about this stuff, but I am stuck. Does anyone know how I could be mroe dramatic and confident in myself?

What helps me when I have to play a character like that, is to be OVER dramatic. Be as dramatic as you possibly can. (It may sound goofie but it works).As for where you need to go, I have one thing to say: Practice makes perfect.

Ok well my 12 year old friend thinks shes pregant!! She hasnt had sex or done anything exsept fingerherself but she been tired!! She goes to sleep at 4:00am and wakes up at 3:00-4:00is and shes not sick but when she took her medican she got a stomic ackes and sometimes diaea and pooping!! And shes goten only one headacke this mounth!! So she whats to know! is she pregnet!
P.S. She doent what a pregant test or anyhtinglike that!!!
If she hasn't had sex,then she's definitly not pregnant. It could be another sickness. And if she hasn't missed her period(if she's gotten it yet) then she's not pregnant. I think she should see her doctor so he/she can tell her what she has.

On my sides are these marks, to be more specific my hips. I'm not sure if this is some sort of part of puberty I didn't learn about or something but it's starting to worry me. By the way I'm not fat, I play sports and I run and everything and I'm a vegetarian.. so I'm pretty skinny. I think maybe my hips are just widening or something, I dont' know, but can anyone tell me what the hell is going on?
Those are probably just stretch marks. I have them too because my hips are widening. It happens to some girls during puberty. When anything grows on your body sometimes stretch marks will appear. It's nothing to worry about. If you want them to go away,just see your doctor.

I don't believe in myself..I have very low self esteem..I feel horrible about myself most of the time..How can I boost my confidence..It's not as easy as it sounds..I don't know what to do..I have no friends and my parents (esp. my mom) tells me I'm useless and ugly) I get made fun of all the time..no wonder my self esteem is so low..How can I boost my confidence..All I want to do is feel superior just once..please help
The secret to having a lot of confidence is simply to not care what people think. Concentrate on the good things people say about you even if it's just yourself. I'm a person whom people think has a LOT of confidence(maby a little too much!) so I won't steer you wrong. Hope this helps!!

I am @ the end of my seventh grade year and am already thinking of colleges(I know,I know)But i am one of those people who are obsessed with my education and trying to plan ahead. Acting is a great career to go into. I'm 14 and I've been really busy getting into my acting career. There are lots of different types of acting styles and ways of acting. Plus, you can do voice overs if you don't want to be on camera. Just my opinion. Hope it helped!!

I just had to put my cat to sleep due to blindness and its hard for me, because hes older than i am!!!!! he's 17 years old and i've had him since he was born. he was just the sweetest cat ever and he was sort of my best friend. does anyone have any tips of how to make this pain go away??

It's hard having to give up a loved one, and I know what it is like to have a burning sensation in your heart. A deep hole that can never be filled. A situation like this happened to me,too. You see, I work at a wildlife preserve, and one of the wolves there died some time ago. She was one of my best friends. I loved her so much. It hurt so bad when I lost her, but,in the end, I realized that I just had to move on. I also realized that my friends were there to help me through my pain. And then a new wolf came to the preserve. And then I also realized that he needed as much love as the other wold did. So,(pardon my long story)basically what I'm saying is that the only thing you can do, is move on and try to live your life. It never stops hurting, but you just have to be strong.
