Alright, I'm well aware that teens go through different confusing stages. They're unsure of themselves, they get depressed..blah blah. But what if I actually thought I had some kind of mental disease? What if I read about it and found the symptoms to be true in my case.? Like..I've found myself to be bulimic, depressed, anxious..all those things. But how can I tell if it's true or not and not just one of those "teen" things. Because my mother won't even listen. She brushes it off and says its just another teen emotion and stage.
Any advicee? I'm 16/f by the way. (link)

hey i have or had the same things as you except for bulimia, and my doctor diagnosed me with depression when i was like twelve. if you dont feel like yourself just like write in a journal of your feelings or hang out with your friends to help you stop feeling like you have to throw up or you dont eat. eat your not fat im sure of it and your propably really pretty, me and my friend have depression and we just have majorly weird mood swings like one minute we'll be all happy and hyper and then we'll be all sad and depressed. I was also anorexic so dont feel like your the only person with these problems and im also an emo cutter but my friends are trying to get me to stop. just ask your mom if you can have a minute to talk about your problems and ask her if she had any of these problems wen she was your age. maybe that will help you. Good Luck :)
