My girlfriend has been taking birth control for a while now, but recently her doctor had her change to a different prescription. Ever since then I've noticed she gets these bouts of sadness, usually around night time, and I worry about her because of it. I was wondering if her changing prescriptions like that could cause the changes in her mood. Is it just a temporary thing until her body adjusts to the new prescription? (link)
Well I'm guessing your friend didn't have depression before but yes birthcontrol can do that it can't actually give you the actual illness of depression but it messes with your hormones over time her body will adjust and you will notice a huge difference in her mood
