my cousins have both had a lot of trouble with drugs and addiction. i am very scared they will die and i always cry when i talk about it. I get so sad and i dont no what to do, my emotions are taking me over! (link)
listen, i know exactly how you feel. last year my best friend of 16 years died of a heroin overdose, and my ex boyfriend is in rehab right now for it also. you need to talk to them about it. let them know how much you care and that drugs don't solve problems, they only make them. you need to be there for them because addiction is physically and emtionally draining. it's alright to cry about this when you talk about it because it is a scary thing, and you letting them know just how much its hurting you might make them understand just how much you care and you're scared for them. ask them how they feel about a rehab problem because honestly, sooner or later, drugs will mess up their lives. just talk to them, be assertive and tell them that they need to change. they might get mad.. but it's better them being mad & getting clean, rather than them being addicted..
