I could probably give some decent advice on things that I have expierienced throughout my own life. I've delt with suicide, depression, and emotional abuse. I've been both the girl who is always getting teased, and (more recently) the one that people are jealous of. On a lighter note, I'm currently in a great relationship, with a bass player for a cool band called the scare bears (www.scarebears.com). I was raised baptist, but am pretty agnostic currently.

Don't be so concerned about the whole thing. Drama is such a waste of time. Focus on making the relationships with the friends you already have, better. Popularity is a bogus concept anyways. I would be at all concerned with your social status. The coolest people out there just don't give a crap about what anyone thinks about them.

Honestly, the worst thing you can do is be overly concerned with how you look and how people will think about your dancing. It's hard to find any basic dance moves on TV. But, you really just need to feel the music. Put on some of the music that you think they might play and dance in front of a full lenght mirror. Use your best judgement as to what moves look the most natural and cool. If you have a friend that is a good dancer ask her to show you a few moves. It's difficult to explain dancing in words, because it best explained visually.

You should just do whatever is most comfortable. It's no fun spening such a big night being concerned that your hair is going to fall down. Think it this way hair down= sexy, hair up= glamorus. It depends what look you are going for.

You yourself must at least mildly think it is sltty or you would not have had to ask. What makes a slut is not what she is wearing, but her actions. I would not consider the first slutty. It is important to be faithful in a relationship. If you feel the desire to be hooking up with someone else, you should not be in that relationship in the first place. The thing is, it really depends how you define what a slut is.

I write out suicide notes and read them over and over...i write long paragraphs explaining to my family why I killed my self..while I write it I am laughing and thinking how fun this is, I get a thrill out of it. Sometimes I think I am depressed, but I don't feel depressed. I love thinking about suicide, wondering who would be at my funeral, if anyone would cry or care. I feel like I am going crazy, it's always on my mind, am I just crazy? Because I don't have any of the symptoms of depression.. (link)

If you are truly considerering killing yourself, please seek help. It is important to find someone you can confide in. If it's always on your mind, then it is important to vent. It does not seem very good to spend most of your life thinking about your death. I'm not saying seek a thrapist imiediatly (because you have not actually attempted suicide), but talk to your parents, or a trusted family member about how you are feeling.
