I don't know why I've suddenly thought of this, but here it goes. My dog, Lucky, is really old.. around 16 or 17. He's a small dog, and is doing well for his age, but he is really old and getting slow. It started occuring to all of us that he's going to die pretty soon, probably within a year. I don't know how I'm going to react when that happens, but as they say, that's life.
My question is, if any of you have had a dog die naturally, or by being put to sleep, who took care of the remains? I know it's a crazy question, but does the vet have someone take on that responsibility?

If you are strong-hearted and you end up bringing the dog to get euthanized, you can be there with him.
If you are not strong hearted, I don't recommend watching, it is not a good last vision to have of your dog, I have had many cats and dogs, just lost 2 labs last year.
I buried them both at home, where they loved to run around and play. My 9 year old daughter was a mess, but it was better for her having them at home, we made a little rock monument for them, wrote a goodbye prayer, said it, then put that in a box with some of their toys, and placed it in with them.
It was hard, but I can look way out on the hill at the back of the yard and see them still playin in the stream, getting all muddy, and thats where they are buried, at home where they belong, not a pile of ashes, that unless you really know your vet, I'm not sure what your getting back to be honest....even my 9 yr old is happy they are home.

Ok i have a kitten he is a cyco!!Hes always really hyper. Are kittens supossed to be hyper and
cycos?I give him a slap when he doesn't behave. So please help me to calm him down or something!

Thanks (link)
slapping is definitely not the way to go!!
hitting any animal simply alienates and confuses them. Kittens have tons of energy, they keep this as they get older, but it comes out in smaller bursts.
you'll see older cats sometimes lay around like cats do, then out of nowhere start darting back and forth all over the place, they need to release energy.
The best thing you can do is play with the kitten with string, or a flashlight, as much as you can.
I know everyone has things to do and everyone's busy, but you shouldn't have a pet unless you are willing to sacrifice some of your time.
The more exercise your kitten gets playing with you, the more it will rest, and have down time, he or she will then turn to you for more play time. if you don't have time to play, set up some fun things for the kitten to do, strings on doorknobs, get a cat tree with scratching posts on it, they will turn to their own toys to play (for the most part) instead of ruining your stuff.
Just love em, and play with them when you can, cats will get very solitary if you are hitting them, they will befriend no-one, because they will be scared of people if it goes on.

good luck

i get all my music from limewire and i update itunes manually.. is there any way that when i add a song file from limewire to itunes it`ll automatically convert it to AAC?

also, is it a good idea to consolidate my library? [option under the "advanced" menu on itunes]

thanks! (link)
A couple of things..
1 do you know what limewire is, and how it works,
do you know that once yo are logged on, your computer is an open book, and believe me, there are hackers out there that can break government codes, never mind your computer, it's quite easy to get into your computer while you are logged in. it's becoming a popular way to spread viruses as well, they are embedded into the files. Limewire is a dangerous place.
2. Being a musician, and a producer, you are basically robbing all the people who worked hard to make the songs available for people to enjoy,
that is how they make a living.
Support them by using i-Tunes to get your songs... and save your computer too.

My computer has kind of changed. I make avatars, and I could just go on Yahoo, or google and find pictures to make out of icons. But now, it will only let me take images that aren't titled. So, Google is no longer an option because they are all titled, I've tried putting a title on, but it didn't work, so have of the pictures I find really suck. Did this happen to anyone else, or does anyone know how to fix it? (link)
specify...mac or pc

When I shave my armpits, it usually gets red and irritated and theres sometimes a couple of hard bunps. I use the same shaving cream and razor that I use on my legs, and my legs come out fine. Why is this happening? What should I do different when I shave my armpits? Thanks 13/f (link)
I'm a guy, but the same thing can happen to men's necks...
my advice is this...
First, you are better off with a separate razor for your armpits, your leg hair is much coarser than the hair under your arms, the blade dulls quick, and it will irritate the skin under your arms easily. have two blades, one for your legs, one for under your arms
Also, using shaving cream is a no-no... too many chemicals, this is probably the biggest problem just use lotion, or baby oil.
The last thing.....water temp.
warm water opens your pores, cool water keeps them closed, you might want to try using cool, or cold water, while shaving, and especially when rinsing,
I know this is tough if you are in the shower, but using the shaving cream with hot water, is just opening your pores, and letting in all those chemicals, there's sensitive nodes under your arms
it's easy to irritate...
shave your pits after the shower at the sink with cold water!

these things have worked for me for a long time...

good luck...no more bumps....
