When ever we talk now it's not exactly a convocation anymore, he will ignore me when he doesn't need to reply like when I don't ask a question. I never ignore him I always answer straight away when he usually takes about 5 mins.

You start to avoid him too, keep your self busy doing something you like. Make new friends. It is not worth having a boy friend who does not love you rather find someone or choose someone who loves you like crazy. Apply it in your life and see the result.
