I have a friend named Rob who I've known all my life and he tells me everything. We both made friends with a new younger girl named Lena (we're in eighth grade and she's in seventh) and we have a great time together. Rob is a really nice guy, and I think that Lena is mistaking that for him liking her, and she's starting to like him. For example, whenever we are doing something, like bouncing on the trampoline, and Lena falls over, he's over there helping her up again, and she's mistaking that for him liking her. Rob has told me himself that he doesn't like Lena as more than a friend, but I don't want Lena to ask him out and break her heart. What do I do?
Don't beat around the bush about it. Just confront her about the situation and be honest. Just tell her that you've been noticing her taking things the wrong way and let her know, nicely, that Rob isn't interested in her. Then let her know that you're only trying to be a friend and help her out.

I would do whatever you feel is right. I know you don't want to dissapoint your mom &all, but she wants whats best for you &if you tell her you'd be happier in PA, then I hope she'd be alright with it.

theres this boy i went out w/and he was obsessed w/me... and called all the time... went anywhere i went ... and he wanted to show hes love for me to cut my name into his arm.... but then i dumped him and 2 weeks layter he got a g/f and then i started lyking him again... and now were just both realy mean to eachother ... well im only mean cuz hes mean to me... im just wonderin do you think he never really liked me?? cuz i dont understand why he doesnt like me anymore
Hmm. I don't know. Sometimes feelings for others can change so quickly. If he cut your name into his arm, that definatley doesn't sound to me like he never liked you. I'm sorry you're starting to like him again &that yall fight a lot, but it will pass in time!

Geez. That's really bad. I suggest you get some professional help because that sounds pretty serious. I don't really know what to tell you other than to stop. &i know that probably means nothing. I've never really understood why people just put more pain on themselves to cope with pain, but in any case I think whoever it is should seek help. I'm terribly sorry for what is going on with you thats causing you to cut. But the only thing I can suggest is to get some professional help or something.

well ok i have a problem ! well there r these 2 guys at school and i think both of them like me but one of them i like a lot and i cant stop thinking a/b him and i just do these crazy things when im not around them . but this other guy he talks to me and u can tell that he likes me by the way he smiles when ever i say something stupid or sweet and then the other guy well he likes girls lets just say that and i dont know if this guy is trying to waste my time by flirting with me and stuff but anyways what should i do cuz its really confussing
yeah, you probably shouldn't ask me guy questions because if you know anything about me at all, you'd know i have none whatsoever expirience with boys. (most ugly girls don't)

uhm, i'd say go with this first guy you're talking about. because if the other one flirts with other girls all the time, it'd be kinda hard to learn to trust him. &if he's just leading you on, &doesn't really like you, he's not worth your time.

you dont know me, but here it goes. im 14 and im a girl obviously. i met this guy on myspace and like, one of my friends knew him already and he lives really close to me. so we became friends and ive met up with him once and ive been to his house twice. i texted him about a week ago saying that i liked him and he told me that he felt the same way, but he wants to wait until the school year [were both going to the same high school] and right now he just wants to be friends with benefits. ive never done that before, and i really want it to be mroe than just that, but i dont wanna tell him that and get him mad and loose him completely. pleaseeee help me
Well, I've never really thought being 'friends with benefits' is a good thing. Because eventually something is bound to go wrong &suddenly, y'all can't be friends anymore. I think that you should tell him that you wouldn't want to be just friends with benefits because sometimes that can turn out to be a mess. I'm sure he won't get mad, you're just being honest.
well theres these people i've been running with at practice lately and they've really been starting to get on my nerves lately...and we've only been in school for 2 weeks. i dont wanna be like leave me alone! but they're getting annoying...mainly this one guy but still...so i duno how to deal with it..any advice?
Well since you're running, uhm..run AWAY. ? Hah, I don't know. No wait, yes I do. If you're up for it, then tell them that you think they're annoying in a nice way, or you could always just not run with them anymore.

I've had this same problem before, too. Well, the only thing I can tell you to do is just either tell her what makes her annoying in a polite manner &then maybe she'd change and be more fun to hang around. Or, you could just deal with it. Hahh.

i kind of had the same problem as another girl below ; see their's these 5 girls at my school and me and 2 other girls all sit with them. the 5 of them are really popular, and we're kind of too i used to be really good friends with one of the girls (amanda) but then she started hanging out with the other 4. i've also had alot of classes with one of the girls and we're grown to be good friends. The thing is though i'm never invited over their hosues ? i know for the person below you told her to do the inviting , but i can't invite all 5 of them over; plus amanda's mom doesn't like me that much. like i also only hang out with them when i see them at our local pool(belmont), or at lunch. their not stuck up at all even though thsi may soudn like it.. i thought maybe they weren't even hanging out with my b\c i was as pretty as them (not trying to say i'm ugly or anything , but they no have better jeans then me) thanks for yur time !i kno this was a long one !!

I know what you're talking about but I don't think its anything serious. However, I could be wrong. If it starts to hurt, I'd go get it checked out.

Okay. Well me & my best friend have been talking to this guy on-line for a while now. He is 15, & in a band. He`s gothic, but really nice... & no he`s not always all depresed, & yes he does laugh, heh. Well any way, like I said he`s in a band & they might have a show down here sometime soon. Well any way, we all talk on the phone like all the time, & he seems really kool. But the only problem is that he thinks where 14 (I`m 13, shes 12.) I know it`s not that big of a differance between like 12.. 13 & 14. But still. Well my question is, when this guy does come down here, do you think me & my friend should go out & meet him, or just forget about him?? Pleassse help!!
