Q: okay, i have this guy best friend..weve been best friends for like 6 months now..he just gotta gf like 4 months ago,and be4 that he usta REALLY REALLY REALLY Like me more than friends..but then he stopped...recently it REALLY seems like he likes me again, even with his gf, its kinda freakin me out alil..like i really think that he thinks that i like him too..all tha poems i write and put in my aim profile about love i think he thinks is about him..all tha songs i put for my voicemail, i think he thinks are about him...and he has a GF. AND i dont even likke him at ALL like that hes like my brother!!! i have talked to him bout it like 2 months ago, and he REALLY hinted it but didnt admit anything..in a cd he made me there was a song that went like this, "i wish we were more than just friends.."blahblah..its kinda freaking me out...whut do i do :-/ i cant really talk about it with him nemore, i mean i make it realy obvious that i dont want to be more than friends not only cause he has a gf but because i dont like him that way!! help please

hmm.. sound like what I'm going through right now! Sweetie I've been in this situation sooo many times, especially since I have a lot of guy friends. There's a quote that describes your question almost to a "T":
"A girl and a guy can be just friends,
but at one point or another,
they will fall for each other..
maybe temporarily,
maybe at the wrong time,
maybe too late, or maybe forever.."
In your case it's just him falling for you. Your situation is bound to happen, because it's a natural thing! Although you don't feel the same way about him, your info/voicemails may suggest *to him* that you do. It may be very difficult, but you're going to HAVE to talk to him. Trust me, if you put it off, there's a chance that when the truth comes out, he'll be so hurt that you may grow apart. And I'm sure you don't want that to happen. (If you did, you wouldn't be writing to us)Let him know how you feel about the whole situation, and let him know that it makes you uncomfortable. You may not love him as a boyfriend, but it'll be better if he knows that you deeply care for him as a friend. And who knows, maybe your prior run-in with him crushing on you has you over-reacting and he really doesn't like you. Good luck with everything -n- I hope that I helped you out!

Hmmm... what I want the world to know. I love helping people out, and I figured that getting involved with this site would allow me to further that interest.
