I am a stay at home mother of 3 children. I have been married for 5 years. My friends and family like to come to me with advice cause I never judge anyone. I have an open mind about everything. I like helping people out when they need help. I was a writer for my high school newspaper. I am wanting to start a career in writing. I love my life. I hope that I can help you with your questions.

Ok, sooo I babysit two little girls and they are 8 and 9 years old. I'm 14 and they always ask me to bring something fun for them to do. And I don't have things they would like anymore considering I'm 14 !!! Then I always ask them what the wanna do, and they say idk, or ugh I'm sooo bored!!!!
So, any tips on what I can do with them or bring for them to play with???? (link)

They have a book cause the children busy book by Trish kuffner. It has lots of different arts and crafts for you to do. It is also age appropriate. Try also bring playing cards to play gold fish, or even uno would work.

So I took a course on babysitting/kidsitting. I talked to multiple people in my neighborhood about it. Most of them said that if I took it they would hire me. So I took the course but now that I have the certificate nobody will hire me. I am afraid to put up flyers because I heard about how some people call the numbers and pretend they have kids to babysit but then they are like perverts and end up like kidnapping they babysitters. I want a job but noone will hire me. What is a good but safe way to get the word out that I'm certified and avalible to work? (link)

Try the American red cross. you can register in your area and other parents can get a copy of those names. Also you can try babysitting websites. you can put your profile and experience on them. Nobody can get that information unless they are paid subscribers. when you go for an interview make sure you put together a resume with references even family or friends you have babysat for. If you aren't already get CPR/ first aid trained that is the first thing parents will look at. With the American red cross there is a babysitting program that you can go through to help you get all you will need and information you will need for babysitting. Don't get discourage. It may take a while, however you will find the perfect family.

Try finding some old pictures of her parents, siblings, and her children and make her a memory album dating from her parents to today. we did that for my great grandmother and that was the best thing she had ever gotten.

I understand where you are coming from. My husband is racist,I however, am not. Try talking to your mom. Maybe she had a bad experience with a different race which made her to come to feel the way she does. She might have been brought up to feel that way. It's hard when you are the one in the middle basically having to chose between your mom and your best friend. Try coming to a comprise with your mom. Ask to meet her and to see that isn't a bad person. If she did have a bad experience with a different race then maybe you can prove to her that not everyone is the same. I hope this helps. I wish you the best of luck with your mom and your best friend.
