I am a female, age 28 who has been through alot of the hard lessons that life has had to offer. I wanted to go to school to become an advice columnist, but one of those hard life lessons stopped me from doing so, until recently. I am in the process of getting my degree for it, and I hope I can help you.

I think I may be pregnant. I'm not so sure right now, so I'm not going to get a test or go to the doctors until I talk to my mom/boyfriend.
First of all, I'm on the pill and have been for almost a year and I use spermicide condoms ALWAYS. so i'm not sure if i am pregnant since we never had a tear in the condom.
But maybe it's my imagination, but my boobs got slightly bigger or maybe it's because i'm not wearing a bra? I dunno, they aren't tender or anything. My stomach looks bloated. I have a high metabolism too and my period is a week & a half away.
Is there any other reason why my stomach looks slightly bloated? Before I jump to conclusions? (link)

i dont think you have anything to worry about honestly. if your period is still a week and a half away, and you havent missed it yet, and considering this is the first one you would have skipped, there is no way the bloating can be from being pregnant. you dont start to see that until anywhere from 3 to 5 months along depending on the person and the pregnancy. some of your first symptoms would be breast tenderness, which you dont have, and different tastes in food with morning/evening sickness. if you do skip your period you can get it checked out, but i dont think you have anything to worry about.

So my best friends hate one of my friends. They said that he follows us around like a lost puppy or something, and I really like Chad. They think he's annoying and going to try and steal our band but I know Chad wouldn't do anything like that. But I'm sorta afraid that Mike and Danny will get mad if I keep hanging out with Chad, and they're like, my two best friends in the world, I don't know what to do. Like I mean Chad, I really really like him, he's practically my twin brother, but Mike and Dan are also really important. And I really don't know what to do. I can understand why Chad is all lost puppy like, his dad's over in Iraq and he doesn't really know what's going to happen in his life from one day to the next and I really like being there for him and making him laugh and smile. But Mike and Danny, I don't think they can really understand what he's going through right now and I've tried to explain it to them but they don't seem to understand. I feel so awful right now. HELP! if your two best friends were truly your best friends, they would understand the situation, and support your decision. you shouldnt have to chose.

hey, im looking for my g-spot. i know its on the front wall fo the vagina where the texture is different, how can i make sure i find it and then stimulate it so i can get a lot of pleasure, if you don't know, how about just making yourself feel really good by fingering, i try it but i dont get a whole lot of pleasure from it. (link)

its going to be very hard to find it and simulate it with your fingers. they make some vibrators specifically for the g-spot, so i would recommend one of those. other wise, your boyfriends fingers would be easier, or his other tools :)

Hi! So, I have really big pale green eyes. I was wondering what color I should put on them to make them more noticible (or, pop as some would say). (link)
|
use a multi shade of a darker like jade green, or switch it up and use triple shade of brown, or combine the two.

would it be bad if was doing something for a long time but never had a position? like for volunteering you dont really get positions
also if i won the spelling bee in 8th grade can i put that down for the 9th grade honors/reward spot? otherwise i have nothing at all. high school doesnt really have anything (link)

theres nothing bad at all about doing volunteer work. volunteering should show that you really care about what your volunteering for. your there and your doing it cuz you want to, not cuz your getting paid for it. and you can most definantely put down a win on an 8th grade spelling bee for the 9th grade spot.

im not very experienced with flirting, but me & the guy i like do tease eachother all the time in class .usually i feel stupid because i dont know what im doing and sometimes what i say to him backfires. his friend who sits next to him laughs about it lol . and sometimes they talk about what i just said and make fun of me ): but theyre not honestly being mean , its all funn.
he sits behind me, so its a little hard to talk to him and stuff without making it totally obvious that i like him.
how can i flirt with him , while hes sitting behind me, in class, without having it be a giveaway ? (link)

drop him a lil note on his desk before you take your seat in class, or give him an irrestiable smile in the hallways or at lunch time.

She needs to go to the doctor. It could be a number of things, including a bladder infection, kidney infection, sexually transmitted disease, or even something serious.

Over the past week my appetite has been really weird. I'll be hungry, so much so that it'll really hurt but the thought of eating makes me feel sick. I'll take a bite of something and won't be able to finish it. This is unusual for me as my appetite has always been healthy and I eat a balanced diet. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? (link)

Have you had any sickness or anything with it? I dont know if this is possible, but could you be pregnant?
If theres no chance of pregnancy, then I would speak to your family doctor about it. I know I had a friend of mine with those same symptoms, and it had to do with stress and her digestive tract, so I would say speak to your doctor.

My parents have never had a healthy relationship, and they've been married for 30 years. They constantly fight! I don't mean to point the finger, but 99% of the time, my mom's at fault. She argues with everyone, every 5 minutes...honestly, if you leave my dad alone, he is calm and reasonable, but my mom's a fire cracker.
But anyway, all they do is fight. It's always been bad, but it's gotten worse- to the point where if they aren't fighting, there's usually tension, or true feelings aren't expressed. I am pretty sure that at some point they will get a divorce... whether or not they do isn't the issue. They will never, ever get along. No body gets along with my mother beyond the superficial level- i hate to say this about my own mother, but she is the most unreasonable, irrational person, beneath all the sugar-coated fakeness she shoes to everyone.
Having said all of that, what is there for me to do?? I try my hardest not to involve myself in their heated argumens . It's all verbal, but it stings terribly. I don't know what to do...sometimes i write in a journal, but how much of that can I stand.
For anyone in a similar situation, what do you do when you are caught in the midst of chaos in your own house? how do you take your mind off things, if only to keep yourself from getting too stressed out or hurt?
Thank you

Im so sorry. The only advice that I can give you is to ignore it. And when I say ignore it, I dont mean go to your room and plug your ears. Go to a friends house, go to the mall, the library, anywhere to get away. And if that isnt possible, then go to your room and call a friend, or blare the radio. Do whatever you have to, so that you dont hear the argument and feel like your in the middle because you did.

I have this teacher who I had last year, and now I have her again. And for some reason she's never liked me. I have no idea why, because teachers usually LOVE me... I'm a really good student, respectful, don't goof around, etc. But this teacher is always so mean to me and she keeps making nasty remarks. Like today was "hat day"... so I come into class wearing a hat, like everyone else, and the teacher says (in a mean voice), "ooooh, you think you look so cute, don't you?" And the other day I got a note during her class to leave early for a student council meeting, and she says to the class, "Well, EMILY has to leave now because SHE'S special!" It really hurts my feelings and embarrasses me and I don't know what to do. If I say something it will just make her hate me more, right? Is there anything I can do, or should I just try to ignore it? (link)

Well emily this is kind of a catch 22 situation. I would tell you to speak to a guidance counselor about possibly getting switched to another teacher who teaches that same class. And if there isnt one available, speak to the teacher about it, one on one. As a last resort, have your mother or father speak to her and let her know if it doesnt stop that the principal, superintendant will be notified. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you.
