See I want to learn how to play the bass.... that is not my problem my problem is I dont know what is the best bass to get when you are first starting off.... And I need to find a cheap one.... if you can give me a link to as site I will be very greatful..... I also always rate 5's (link)

a good bass to start off with that is also in a good price range would be dean basses. occasionally you'll find a good bass on ebay, but you have to make sure to ask how it plays, how good of condition it's in and how used it is. the disadvantage of that is you don't get to try it out for yourself before buying it. the best way to get a bass would to just go to a music store because you get to try it out and see for yourself if you like it and how it plays before you buy it. make sure you go to a good music store that has people there that know what they're talking about and not just trying to make money.
