i am a fourteen year old girl. So theres this guy in my class that i really like named corey and he likes me too. But i asked him why he wouldnt go out with me he said that every time a girl has said she liked him it was a bet or a joke.Its not though and when i told him that he said that he didnt know if he could beleive me. Like i said i really like this guy and i ned help to get him to trust me. (link)

If you really like him...you are going to have to be patient. It may seem silly but when someone has that happen to them several times it becomes really hard for them to trust others in a similar situation. I know this because I am the same way. I think it would be best just to start out as friends and then over time he will learn that he can actually trust you. Later it might move on to the two of you dating...or it may not. It sounds to me though he is more in need of a friend than a girlfriend at the moment though.
