Next week I turn 21. No big deal really, I was legal at 19 were I live.
A while ago me and my boyfriend agreed for a whole bunch of reasons to not focus on our birthdays too much this year, just do something nice for valintines day. Which was totally cool with me. But now my girlfriends want to take me out for my birthday.
The thing is everybody, even myself, wants this to be a girls night thing. I don't even think my boyfriend would want to come to the place they have in mind, but I'm not sure how to tell him that I want to spend my birthday with just my close group of girls. What should I do? (link)

You are under estimating the love your boyfriend has for you! I'm sure if you told him you were thinking of having a girls night out he would understand! As long as you promise to have a night with him soon. And if he kind of would like to see the birthday girl then offer to do something with him earlier and do something with your friends in the evening.

when i get older im thinking about like adopting 2 kids and having 2 kids, does anyone have any ideas on why this would be a bad idea? i want to adopt because i dont want all my kids to have the same traits as me, but then i wanna have 2 of my own because having a baby that came from you is..good, right? do you think i would favor the kids i created over the ones a adopted?? suggestions, please??! thank you~~~!!!!!! I think it's a good idea. I know my mom was the only kid in her family that came from her parents. Her two brother and sister were adopted and you love all your kids just as much!

im not sure what catagory to ut this in but here we go, ok im usually always wearin a jacket because i sweat sometimes and i dont know why and i dont want people to see them especially boys armpit stains arent attractive and i have tryed a lot of deoderants like dove, teen spirit, a lot of em can anyone give me any advice on this horror thanks so much (link)

I can say I have a serious sweating problem. I sweat like a man and sweat SO much. My friends and I joke about it. I sugguest removing the jacket. It just makes it worse. Also don't wear the fabric that like blouses are made of. Like I have this green buttom up shirt from old navy and its horrible to wear! I can just be sitting there and I'll have huge pit stains! lol...Almost when you have pit stains don't keep your arms closer to your body, it also doesn't help. You need air to dry! lol...I like sheer cotton shirts with a tank top under because it doesn't show as much. Also try and advoid white shirts because you get un attractive yellow marks :P

I would sugguest ((if it doesn't gross you out)) thrift shops. Not like Goodwill or some large chain. Like a small independantly owned thrift shop that buys clothes off of people. Or hit up ebay. dyi ((do it yourself)) clothing. Which is people who make clothes themself and sell their unique clothing on ebay. Now you might be a bit young to do that yet though because i know I can't shop on ebay ((my moms afriad of things...lol)) and it kills me to see that amazing clothing! I don't think that helpped but I'm not exactly sure where else to go.

I like 'vintage' and ethnic-y (peasant, gypsy) clothes and I love having unique stuff...but I'm not sure exactly what to wear. I love all those things like tiered skirts and really, really long necklaces with cool beads but what else is there that would go with a 'vintage' kind of look? This is for every day wear. Thanks! I would sugguest hitting up an antique store for some jewlery! I love antique stores. I have to advise you though if you are a vintage person you might become addicted to antiques like me! Which is an exspensive addiction!

Okay some people are just being plain rude. You can successfully make cookies with out eggs. I know this for a fact because my friend is dead allergic to eggs and she makes cookies all the time and they taste great. The only thing I can tell you is that I don't know the substution. My advice is do a google search for egg less cookies. But just telling you it can be done.

Personally, I can't stand fake nails. I tried them once last year. I can say I'm into fake things like dying your hair fake nails and such but I don't care if anyone does. Just letting you know where I stand. I know that when I had them on they were too long, so i filed them a lot. Then they just plain bothered me so I ripped them off, that was painful I can tell you that! lol..after I did that my nails were all flaky and I decided maybe i didn't put enough time into my nails and so i glued them back on. I had them on for a couple of days and still didn't like it and yet again ripped them off. But that's just me. They were just too weird for me.

Hey everyone..I'm 13, 5"4, and 135 lbs. I'm athletic, i'm really into softball and i'm a cheerleader. ALL of my friends try so hard to tell me all the time that i'm not fat. I know I may not be FAT, but i'm most definitely not skinny, or close to it. My stomach sticks out about 3 inches more than i'd like it to. Everything else about me is fine, but my stomach is stopping me from wanting to have a boyfriend, stopping me from being confident, and basically taking over my life because it always causes me to be in a bad mood. I'm not one of those people that want to be deadly skinny. I honestly am overweight, although my BMI is average. I've tried diets but they usually only last about a few weeks, a month tops. I excercise whenever i can which isnt frequent, but NOTHING seems to help. Im going on vacation in April and I would really like to have lost a lot of weight, well, just inches i suppose. I don't have trouble getting boyfriends but the problem is im always scared that they dont like me or wont if they realized that im not as skinny as everyone else. When i dress myself, i dont wear wicked tight clothes, or slutty crap. I look good but not as good as i could look if i was skinnier. If ANYONE has any advice as to what i could do, i would TRULY appreciate it. I can sometimes be very committed to diets but not as much as i could be. I need something that i can easily do to get rid of some inches by april, or sooner. I dont realy have money or rides to go to the gym, so i have to work with whatever i can do at home. I jog too, but that doesnt really help me. I would honestly be the happiest person alive if i was skinnier, and i mean that. Please, help me out guys. p.s-sorry this is so long. (link)

First of all don't judge yourself on weight. You could weight a lot yet be thin because it could be muscle or bones etc you know? I can say I'm 15, same height and weight as you. It helps if you cut back on salt. Your body absorbs more water there for keep extra water in your body. More then you need and it makes you feel bloated as well. Salt isn't the healthiest thing for you anyways so it helps a lot to cut back on it. Also drink 8 cups of water a day. It really is good for your weight. If you have trouble keeping track of how much water you've had wear 8 thin bracelets and everytime you have a cup more one to the other wrist. I would advise to start doing some muscle toning like sit ups, different kinds. If you don't know more kinds look some up on the internet or ask your parents or friends, someone should know. You say you jogg, and if you jogg hard ((but not enough to make you dead tired)) it should do you well if you go for 30mins a day. Make sure you do a 5-10min cool down. So your heart doesn't get all confused and such. You should do 30mins of cardio a day. Either it's jogg, playing a sport, building a snowman in the winter ((it's more of a work out then you think! lol....)) It doesn't always have to be jogging because that is boring I know. lol... I can tell you dieting is a bad idea because you don't get everything you need in your diet and when you are in your teens you really need nutrients and minerals. I would actually sugguest a multi vitamin because working out you need more stuff to keep you healthy. I've been put on a multi vitamin and vitamin b because of all the working out I do. Try and less up the amount of self food you get. A lot of snacks have trans fats in them. Trans fat is horrible for your weight and health. 1 gram a day is bad for you yet the average north american gets 10 grams a day. Variety in fruits and vegetables is good. Different colours have different nutrients. Look up fun smoothie and fruit desserts! Always a good thing. Now this is long! lol...good luck!
