My boyfriend left a few days ago to attend a college 5 hours away for his freshman year. We've agreed to try and make our relationship work long distance but I am so scared and almost everyone I talk to is less than supportive of the idea. I care about him very much and would like to continue dating him, so can anyone give me advice on sustaining a long distance relationship? Also, every since he's left I've been feeling majorly depressed. I'm commuting to school (it's a city school so it does have a large population of commuters) and I'm worried that I won't be able to make any friends. My big fear is that he'll have tons of fun at school and I won't have a good time at all.

I've been in a long distance relationship for almost four years. And not home to college, but different countries. The keys are:
- Complete trust. If he feels you're holding him back from meeting new friends and doing new things because you're jealous and don't want him to go out, etc. he'll resent that.
- Communication. Talk. Talk about everything you feel, talk all of the time. Find fun things to do. Watch movies together over skype. When you skype him, don't be grunged out but put on some make up and nice clothes. Send him links of stuff you find and read. Read the same books. Do things to stay connected.

What are some ways to meet people if you are single and in your 20's? I'm not a huge club type so that's really not an option. I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers on where to look. I don't trust dating sites.. (link)

Clubs will never work. Bars and pubs are less likely as well in my opinion.
Try:
- Getting set up with friends of your friends
- Go to places where nice girls hang out and are more easy to approach like bookstores, cafes, etc. They're easier to talk to there and you don't have to approach them trying to dance with them like a buffoon...

I am 18 years old and my guy really wants me to give him a hickey. His friend says its to show others he's mine and concidering he has already cheated on me once, I really want to do it, but I am incapable of giving a hickey. If he has already cheated on you - get rid of him! Hardly worth it!
The key to making a hickey appear as more than just a small red mark though is to suck REALLY hard for as long as possible. Try literally to pull his skin off his neck and into your mouth.
