I think I might have a urinary tract infection. I checked the symptoms online, and they all match up. I'm going to tell my mom to take me to the doctor, but I'm worried he'll ask me questions about it in front of my mom and I don't want my mom to find out that I am sexually active, because I think that's what caused it :/ I don't have a car so I can't take myself to the doctor's,so she'll have to take me but I just don't want the doctor to ask me in front of my mom if i've had sex :/ please help, any advice will do thanks! you dont have to have your mom in the room with you just tell the dr that you would rather deal with him alone. they will respect your wishes its dr patient confidentialitty. A uti can be caused from holding your urine too long causing an infection it has nothing to do with sex.
