I want to make my hair wavy. I already have natural waves, but they aren't that strong, and anyway they're frizzy. My friend uses mousse and scrunches up her hair, and she also uses tongs. I told my mum I wanted to make my hair wavy, but she keeps saying that the only way you can have waves in your hair is to get a perm. It's not, is it?? Because my mate says she's never had a perm. But whatever I say, my mum keeps saying that you can't have wavy hair unless you get a perm, my mum ALWAYS thinks she's right, I can't get through to her. Anyway, how do you make your hair wavy? Please tell me any products/tongs etc that are good, and if there are any sites that tell you how to get wavy hair then I'd appreciate it. I used to curl my hair with tongs, because I did Irish dance competitions. But the curls just fell out like 30 minutes later, so if you know how to actually keep the waves in place, that would be helpful too (I tried tresemme gel spray but that didn't work). Thanks! xo (link)
I just take my regular shower, and dry my hair with a towel. And then let it air dry the rest of the day. Don't brush it all day. If you're riding in a car you can let the wind blow it around. Don't use a blow dryer, curling iron, or straighter. If the heat is to high on any of those it will damage your hair. A blow dryer will make your hair staticy. This is my method for wavy hair.
