I have a project for my French class and I need to give a presentation on how to become a professional advice columnist for the newspaper or a magazine.
-What type of education do you need?
-What is the average salary? and how much money would be made in the 1st,10th and 20th year?
-in order to become a advice columnist, what steps need to be made?

Any info would help. (link)

Many people think that the only careers you can have in the fashion industry are either model or fashion designer, but there are actually lots of different options. If you enjoy fashion, then there is probably a career that will suit you in the fashion industry.

A stylist is someone who's main job is to style someone or a group of people. This involves selecting clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and generally creating an overall look. This is a good career choice for someone who loves clothes and knows how to put together an outfit easily and successfully.

A fashion designer is someone who creates fashion. Designers sketch designs, select colours and textiles, create patterns, and eventually create a finished product. This is a good career choice for someone who is very creative, and enjoys the art of creating an piece of clothing from scratch.

A model is someone who models fashion, either on a runway or in print ads in magazines or on billboards. In order to be a model you must meet very specific criteria, including being of a certain height and weight. This is a good career choice for someone who loves fashion and loves to be in the spotlight.

An agent is someone who looks for new models, assesses their potential for success, and signs them to an agency. This is a good career for someone who is more business minded than artistic, and prefers to be behind the scenes.

A fashion journalist is someone who writes about the latest fashions, fashions shows, designers and models for magazines like Vogue or Glamour. They may also have the opportunity to interview celebrities or famous figures in the fashion industry. This is a good career choice for someone who loves to write and isn't too shy to walk up to strangers and ask them questions.

A fashion photographer is someone who photographs models for print campaigns or on the runway at fashion shows. This is a great career choice if you enjoy photography and prefer to be out of the spotlight.

A retail fashion director is someone who chooses which fashions major retail stores like H & M or Target will carry in their stores. This is a good career choice if you like fashion but are also very business minded, and don't mind taking on a lot of responsibility.

It is clear that being a model or a photographer are not the only options when it comes to a fashionable career! With all of these options in the world of fashion, it is easy to find a career that suits your personallity and goals.

I am from Pakistan, an educationest working in public sector. New research papers and articles will really enhance my professional compitency. But the problem is that I did not have reading habit. when I try to read some article in english I get sleep or get boared soon. can you please tell me the ways to develop the reading habit for reading latest education related material. (link)
1
Pick up a book. If you are nowhere near any books, how are you supposed to read? So, just find something to read. That can be anything, including newspapers, magazines, novels and etcetera. The important thing is that the book you choose must be at your level or similar. Don’t choose the book too high for your level because it will just waste your time.

2
Practice your reading habit. Now that you have found what you like to read, you can set your time by 15 minutes a day in order to read. During this time, you’re not supposed to care about anything except your reading. After 15 minutes, you can close your reading material and do something else. Practice this every day, make it your habit. After you have gotten used to this habit, you can increase the time you need to read in a day to 20 or 30 minutes.

3
Don’t give up. If you find that you cannot complete the task in the first place, chin up! Remember, winners never quit! You just have to try again and again until you achieve it.

4
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. No kidding, if you find yourself stressful while reading the book, don’t continue reading under pressure like that. Reading is for pleasure, so don’t push yourself too hard that you can quit reading forever, or even if you can read, the outcome won’t be so good either.

I just got back from my vacation and we went camping. My aunt and uncle surprised me with a truck and $300 for drivers training. I know...awesome huh? My high school doesn't offer drivers education which is a total bummer so I need to go to some place that has intergrated drivers traing and drivers education. Does anyone know what place can do that??? (link)

What are the hallmarks of a good charity. Boy that is hard. Easier to know what are the hallmarks of a bad charity. Well luckily the UK Charity Commission has come up with the following 6 hallmarks for a good charity. Except for the English accent, these hallmarks would seem to be equally relevant and useful here in Canada. Staff and directors of charities might find it useful to read the hallmarks and ask ‘does our charity live up to this?’. By the way this is not pass/fail - it is more a matter of continual improvement no matter how good we are.
