Me and this guy have been best friends for like 3 years and we were really really close and i trusted him with everything. In 6th grade we went out but it was ntohign big or anything we lasted about a month. I went out with other people but in the middle of 7th grade i really started to believe that I loved him.. truely loved him. I told some of my "girlfriends" but I kept my feelings from him for a long time. Finally, he put me in the posistion where I had to tell him so I told him I loved him. For about a week we didn't talk but he said he was happy I told him. The next week he ended up with a gf who is my good friend. I never did anything wrong and he told other people that he hated me and he was never goign to talk to me again. This really hurts me becuase not only am i losing the love of my life but the best friend I ever had. What do I do??

This situation sounds like a bad case of Male ego.
If you want my advice, i say SCREW HIM! most guys i know can be complete Ass whips, when they find out that some chick has a crush or in your case "in love" with them. There are thousands of great men out there, and you really dont need This guy. If i were you i would start dating and forget about him. I bet in less than a month, (when he realizes that you have moved on) he will be on his hands and knees begging you to go out with him.
Try something new, prettend that you don't care for him in front of his friends or people he talks to, sooner or later he will find out, and when he does believe me he's going to dump this girl he is with just to try to sweep you up. lol

Hey. Well, I'm currently in the 8th grade and I will be going on to highschool this upcoming August. Well, not a lot of people are going to my high school-only a few. I was wondering, how do I become social because I tend to be shy at most times, and in highschool, I want to have lots of friends and for people to know that I'm cool, fun, and nice to be around with, since I really am once people get to know me. Most people will tell you to change your look, maybe go towards a more stylish wordrob and show off some of that hidden “Booty” as they call it. But most teens who attempt this type of change usually come out of it looking more like a bad version of Barbie. Instead of making a really dramatic change to appeal yourself try to open up a little. Try to put that shy little girls back in the closet and bring out a more talkative and impressive person. And I don’t mean to pretend to be someone your not. Like I say “you only live once” so don’t live life hidden and shy, gather all the guts you have boiling in your tummy and open up. Don’t be afraid to walk up to someone or a group of people and say hello or pretend to need help in one of your classes and ask a fellow student. This may feel very unusual and bizarre in the beginning but believe me it will pay off
