hey, i know christmas is a little far away but not very. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year. Im 18 and hes 21. We both believe that we're meant for each other and we want to get married one day! He asked me what i wanted for christmas and as much as i do want an engagement ring, a promise ring will do. Please dont give me a lecture of its too soon or we're too young. But anyways he asked what i want, i dont want to come out and tell him i want a promise ring because i want it to be something he wants to give me and something he comes up with. Ive tried dropping hints and hes like you want a promise ring fine im gonna get you one. But then i tell him never mind because i want it to be his idea. I guess i just need advice on how to tell him without telling him.

Well, you can't really go around it.Just tell him and say I only wnat it if you're ready to give me one. Or don't say anything at all and wait until he gives you one.

firstly, there`s this guy i have known for about 5 months now. we were friends at first but it wasnt long before we started flirting w/ eachother. we have kissed && stuff but we have never actually "dated" i mean i like to get to know someone before i jump into a relationship and he feels the same. any way recently we have argued a lot. && now we arent talking to eachother no more. i really liked this guy && he said he really liked me. we argued because he said he thinks i dont care about him. maybe bcoz i was still playing hard to get, but thats just me. we havent spoken for a couple of weeks now but we have gone through a phase like this before but we made up weeks later after we had time to think. more to the point, i am trying to get over him (because we may have fallen out forever for all i know) but i can`t. there are about 3/4 other guys who are interested in me && i cant bring myself to flirt with them. it is not bcoz of the guy i like, but when i am with the other guys i jus cant be bothered flirting w/ them && i lose my patience when they are telling me how much they like me. i duno what to do :| im 16/F/FL

Well Nothing I mean nothing is worth it. You guys arent even together and you guys are forever argueing. Seems like he's just leaving you and coming back to you because he knows you will take him back. Now i know this is nothing you didn't want to hear but its the truth. Just because only a few other boys are interested in you doesn;t mean anything. You have your whole life to love someone. But you can not let a guy walk all over you and take advantage of you and disrespect you.

Well, why don't you do something he would like to do. Or what about finding a concert to go to with the kind of mucis he listens to, Why not go out to dinner. Or have a picnic. Why not tell him how you feel about him/with corny cheesy lines.

ok so i like this boy in my class. he, in my class is the authority figure (student wise) so he needs to talk to everyone and have good communication with everyone. he talks to everyone and goofs around with.. everybody.. except with me he's so shy. he looks at me alot, we make tons of eye contact and the cute thing is, he lets me look away first. i really like him, he's sweet and kind to everyone. when we do talk, it's little bits of conversations, we'll talk and we'll smile and laugh. my friend says he likes me because when im not looking at him he looks at me and gives me "the look" i have yet to figure out what that is but she said he looks at me like im the most important girl in his life. do you think he likes me? if he does, why doesn't he talk to me as much as everyone else? Well for starters most guys are shy to express there feelings. Maybe you should express yours first and see how he reacts. Sometimes a guy wants a women/girl to approach them first;Have confidence. Tell him how you feel. The worst he can say is no.

i'm unsure of my feelings with my girl.. i dont know if i like like her.. i mean when she was out with my guy friend im not sure if i felt any jeolousy with her being with him and there are other little things like that that make me unsure of how i feel. what do i do to figure out how i feel.. have her test me? idk.. like it might just be that i been too busy caring what others think of the relationship to actually think about how i feel with her. i know i like her, just i do not know if it is in the same way she feels towards me.
