Ok.
So, tonight I was going out to eat with some friends. While getting in the car, one of them managed to slam the door on my right thumb. Hard. Impacted on the nail and sides of my thumb.
Now, I have a purple finger about 1.5 times its normal size, blood somewhat congealing under the nail, and at the cuticle on top of my thumb it hasnt stopped bleeding (it bleeds VERY slowly, about a drop every 20 min) in the last 6 hours. Its also quite stiff. Sorry for the vivid description.
Im not much for first aid, so any ideas on how I can get the swelling down and the thumb back to normal by sunday? Im going visit my girl, and I forsee this damn thumb betting in the way. (Dont ask)
Ive done ice and bandage wrapping, but anyone have any other ideas?
Now, on sunday at about 5 am Im going to be arriving in town, so it has to be quick and effective remedies. 5s to anyone who gives an idea that improves the situation.

same thing happened to me before...alls u gotta do is go to the doctors and they burn a lil hole in ur nail to get all the pressure of the blood out. my ring finger was twice as big as normal and it went right down and it felt soooo good to get the pressure out. hope i helped

Ok well I like this guy, whose name is Frankie. Frankie is a total skater dude, and I’m well... kinda preppy. The only reason I’ve really talked to him is cause he sat by me in a couple of my classes. When I talked to him he was really nice.. and sweet. I finally realized I liked him. I really don’t know if he likes me because he's so different from guys I normally like.. And so different from me. Frankie is totally different from me, and a skater dude... most of his friends totally hate me (mostly cuz I’m a little preppy, and smart).... And most of my friends don’t really know him (and I wont tell them who he is)... and I have no classes with him. He still waves to me though. I need advice on how to like talk to Frankie and like really have a conversation with him or just play around. I’m pretty creative, but with all the problems I dunno what 2 do.... first off i would go to the doctors just to make sure u are pergnant or not...if u find out that u are pregnant b really nice and ask ur ex bf to talk to u, tell him the truth and that u want him to b the dad of the kid....if he says no,....tell ur parents i think, maybe they will understand and help u..it most likely depends on how old u are if they are gunna get that mad. but either way they should help u...if this didnt help go to a giudence counsiler or someone who can help....

No one really knows what they are...they can b caused by having too much food or drinking too much, also...If you get them alot and/or they last for more then a day you could have either appendicitis and diabetes...they have all been accosiated with hiccups, although they are rare...
a good way to get rid of them and this works really good is to take a glass of water, tilt your head so that u are upside down...hold ur nose and drink the water upside down....make sure that u are upside down...well just ur head or else it might not work...also take a mouth full of water not just a couple sips...swallow a couple mouth fulls...that always works for me. if this does or doesnt help im me n i could give you more pointers....
