Five minutes ago, I was trying to talk to my aunt and all of a sudden, my mom bursts in our convo and starts yelling at me asking "Why didn't you ask me!??!" "Don't talk to me like that!" She didn't give me a chance to talk so she kept yelling and so I yelled back and then she blamed me for things I didn't do! She totally humiliated me infront of my aunt! This always happens! What do I do to prevent this..and What can I do about the situation now? If you tell me to say sorry to my stupid-ass mom, I'll give you a 1. It seems like she wants attention, but whatever..help if you can..all 5's for reasonable answers. (link)

Mom's are all alike in most ways. My mom is the same way. Just learn to be patient, and you don't have to say your sorry. Maybe the silent treatment will work on her a little bit, or the cold shoulder. Just because we're the kid, doesn't mean were always wrong. Also maybe talk to your dad, or even your Aunt who you were talking to at the time. Or, a last resort, talk things out with your mom, and let her know whats up, and how you feel.
You cant really prevent how your mother will act. Unless you move out or something, then yes. You don't have to apologize though, your mom had no right to yell at you. And it could seem that she wants attention, and maybe she could be stressed.
My advice would be to let her approach you, and apologize first after giving her a little bit of the cold shoulder. Then talk things out.
Hope I helped!
