I'm traveling by myself for the first time in about a week, taking an airplane to New Jersey. I've been going there every summer since I was little, but never by myself, and to be honest, I never really paid attention. So, this is gonna sound dumb, but...

- What's the order of things that I do (check in, security, etc- where do I go?)

- Any other tips, I'm kind of nervous that I'm gonna get lost or miss my flight or something

It's United, if that makes a difference. (link)
okay first is check in where you get the boarding pass. Then security- no liquids over 3 oz in your carry-on if you do have those small liquids they need to be in a quart size plastic bag. Then you go to the gate. I think there will be someone with you the whole time but since you are 17 maybe not but possibly. My tips are to bring something that makes you feel good, beause doing something for the first time is nerve recking, while your waiting have something to do, and just try to enjoy yourself
