A really close friend of mine is moving to Winnetka too. lol we have that in common. First off I'm sry she is moving away. Now let's see... Winnetka has a rep but a very small one. Like Walla Walla, WA has a rep for their sweet onions. But that rep is pretty small. So only neighboring states have heard of it. But since Winnetka is near Chicago then it should be ok. The people are just like you and me. They kinda speak like New York people do. Not all of them speak that way but some. Its a really cool town.

I know how weird this may sound but I really need help.
So I really get goo goo around this one guy and sometimes I don't know what to say. My mind goes completely blank. And that NEVER happens to me. I ALWAYS have something to say.
He's "grounded" so right now we can only talk through e-mail. I asked him about his family because he has 8 brothers and sisters and how he liked that. He responded with "i love having that many siblings... their is always somebody to pick on... lol"
I feel so weird asking this because I know it sounds ridiculous but, what is something I could say back to that?

I don't think my answer is brilliant. LOL! But anyways... Say well(depending how large your family is)i know. I love to pick on my siblings! But if you have and older sibling then say, Well im the one that gets picked on so your lucky. All in all go with what your heart tells you to. Make a joke. Say thats cool. Talk about other stuff. ok, so without disclosing my age, we'll say im over the age of 18, I recently started babysitting an infant that is teething. I babysit him from 5am to 5pm, so I've got my hands full. I've never had children of my own but I have always loved kids and yes, I know how to take care of him as far as feeding, burping and such ok so my question is, he's fine and dandy as long as I am holding him 24 hours a day, but I cant hold him all the time, i need both my hands to fix his bottles and such, but if I put him down, he screams his head off and will NOT stop. What is his deal? I think he is just spoiled a couple of ppl have told me to just put him down and let him cry it out but that makes me feel like a bad person for doing that. any advice? p.s. he's 4 months old. (link)

hmmm thats a toughie. I babysit too. I try to keep them entertained. Like give bounce them and pat them. I think he is afraid that if he's not in someone's arms he's not safe. That's the way my cousin was when i babysat him. He was 1 by the way. Just talk to his parents and ask them what they do when he won't stop crying. Hope this helps.

OK at school since october i have been crazy about this guy. he's nice, cute, funny, incredibly smart, and yeah I hope you get the picture. anyway all of these girls have crushes on him and most of my friends do. one day he will act like he likes me, then the next he wont even talk to me. and im mad b/c im tired of him playign with my emotions but i cant NOT like him. trust me i have tried so many times but it wont work. today he acted like he liked my best friend (which he has dont to me so many times) and i got really upset. i dont want to like him. i just want him as a friend but every day i think about him, look to find out where he is, and zone out just wondering if he is thinking of me.
Any ideas on how to get him out of my head, get over him, or just make him a friend. I will rate 5's for good answers. from, crummy feeling (link)

Well first off you need to think about how all guys one way or another flirt with alot of girls. Even if they don't go out with them or like them. Girls will flirt with tons of guys too. I don't think you need to get him out of your head. You just need to be friends but don't get to close or too attatched. If you are already too attatched then pray. If you arent religous then talk to a good friend so they can tell you whenever you are flirting or somthing like that with him. All in all go with what your heart tells you. Hope this helps.

i need some sereous help right now. this girl i like so much will tatlk to me anymore. we used to talk so much, i mean we went to the fair and would ride the rides together. she never said she liked me but i got this immpresion because she asked me who i liked a million times.but at our junior high dance yesterday, she said that she hated me and i felt way to nervous and heartbroken after that to ask her to dance.I feel so hurt its like ti dont want to go to school anymorea because i dont want to be in the vicinty of her . what adviec can you give me so i can find out why she hates me but not seem despeate to know? well seems to me like she really liked you but thought that it was time to see other people. You can't stick with one person your whole life at this age. Just move on. If you really want to know why she broke up with you, take her to the park or somwhere quit and ask her. Hope this helps. All in all your heart will know what to do.

i just started hs. i go to a different hs from all my friends in middle school, but my best friend goes with me. well she's making all these friends and im not. like i think its just because shes pretty and im ugly. im outgoing and everything and i talk to lots of people, they just dont like me. and at lunch all the people we were sitting with invited my friend to go to the movies tonight, and i was just sitting there and i wanted to cry. im so upset and depressed. God what should i do... but i've already tried talking to people so dont say invite them places cause thats stupid if theyre not my friends. (link)

Well you still have your best friend. Hang out with her and her friends. Try to include yourself more. Im sure your not ugly. I realise High School is a tough time to make friends. But you will make some. Your a freshman and not everyone accepts people when they are freshmen. Give them time. I'm sure that they will eventually accept you. Hope this helps.

My best friend snt me an e-mail telling me she doesnt want to be my friend anymore i asked why and she cursed me out! its been 8 months and we sometimes talk.. aquaintences. I know what its like to lose a best friend. I had a best friend and we were really close. Then she started dating this 22 year old guy. (She is 15 by the way!)She and I rarely spoke to eachother after that. She backed off and I fought to keep her as a friend. But one day she was gone. I knew in my heart she would come back sooner or later. But it felt like I had lost her forever! But her and her boyfriend broke up so now we are best friends again.
The best advice I can give is this: Friendship is like a rollercoaster. It has its ups and downs. You and your friend need to trust eachother to the point where if you get a new friend or she gets a boyfriend; you will always be there for the other. She will get over it. Just give her some time. All in all go with what your heart tells you to do. Hope this helps.

We don't need religion. Hear me out. If Jesus were to come down from Hevan and say "I am the son of God" and showed us all of is water to wine stuff, scientist could test it and then Christianity would become a science and all other religions would be be proven wrong and therefore not be religions.
That was my little prologue, here is my question Is it possible that our societies have reached a point in which we can admit there is no need for religion and have good morals without a book or God(s) to tell us what they are? (link)

Well I think that we do need religion. Don't get me wrong cuz we all have freedom of speech. But I think that our society very well could have reached that point. But scientist take away things and make it seem as if evolution is the cause. Man did not come from a monkey. There was a huge flood which flooded the whole earth. There was dinosaurs but they didn't die off cuz of a stupid meteor shower! I mean they died from flooding. The only reason dinosaurs came to be is because man mixed bred animals. Ok I went off the subject but. If scientist don't know what the truth is then why do they make it like they do and call it "evolution"? The point is that I think there is some scientists that think they found some proof to the point that no one need religion. All in all it really doesn't matter what i think. hope this helps.
