Everyone has a method that fits you more. What really works for me is to study what the teachers passed through the day that helps you to really learn what they thought. Other thing that helps when you didn't understood what was given it's to whatch videos about it, sometimes those videos can give you a different perspective which normally is very helpful. Hope that I could help you and if nothing works you could always try a private teacher.
