Hi, I'm Erika, and this is the first question I'm asking on Advicenators. For my HS, we're doing an AD Sweep downtown. My teacher says we need to dress nice, sophisticated, and casual... and I'm not a very businessy type of person, so is there anything I could wear that would be, you know, "sophisticated"??? Also, we can't wear pants. (link)

Yay! I swayed Lovik (my teacher) to let us wear dress pants!!! So I've decided to make it a little funky!!! Yet, I'm remaining classy. I'm wearing brown gauchos that have gold pinstripes (pinstripes are businessy). A gold shrug that is cropped, but you dont button it, it's a pull-over(very cute). Under the shrug, I'm going with a white shirt with lace at the bottom. And Gold ballet flats... is this okay???
