Okay so I'm thirteen years old and I just got my period yesterday. I was at a pool party that day and my friends gave me a tampon, instructions, and locked me in a bathroom trying to get me to put the damn thing in. It was ''regular'' size (Tampex with the yellow code or w/e) and it hurt soooooooooooooooo much! I had the tip in and then after that it hurt soo much, it wouldn't go in. I just bought Playtex ''Lites Junior'' or something and I'm too afraid to put it in. Help! (link)

oh, dear, your frist time
dont worry about that, because things always get better. try using a pad first. then when your ready use a tampon. i reccomend playtex gentle glide. you honestly cant feel it. good luck!
