Hey there. Ya well I'm 16/f. So I recently became a boys basketball manager (take stats, do stuff for the coaches, fill up water bottles, ect.) Well, there's a guy on the team that I think is really cute and all, but I'm a sophmore and he's a senior so we don't have any classes together. Well, I really want to talk to him, but I don't know what to say. All of my friends are really good at flirting and talking to guys, but I've never been like, super good at I guess you could say. I mean, I take care of myself, have good clothes, and stuff. But I'm not super skinny, but not fat either. I'm in between I guess. But I think it's mostly because I'm kinda short. Well, anyways, whenever I try to talk to guys, I just get the vibe they think I'm weird or something. But it might just be me. I'm just quite around guys, mostly because I never know what to talk about. But I really want to talk to this guy on the team, but I'm not sure what to talk about. There's an away game this coming tueday, and my friends think I should sit next to him( my friends would be there to so I won't be alone or anything) but I'm just always so scared that guys will think I'm weird, or not pretty or skinny enough. I have a feeling I'm never going to get a bf, mostly because I've never had one. Kinda pathetic yes, but I'm just not the type to talk to every single guy I see and just launch into conversations and flirt. So help? Is there something wrong with me?? Should I sit next to him on the away game, and what should I talk to any guys about ever, but especially the guy on the team?????? I always tell myself to take chances, and that if I don't, I'll end up regetting it later, but then I just clam up. Please help me. I don't want guys to think I'm a looser. I really like this guy, and I've only talked to him a couple of times, so what should I talk about with him?? My friends also think that whenever I see him in the hall or at lunch, I should say hi, but would that be weird? Please help me! Thanks!!! (link)

Its probably not right for me to answer since i am asking a question my self but I would take a plunge, "Accidentally" sit next to him and start asking him questions about him playing basketball and i will go on with other things. Good Luck :)
