DON'T do that. It's psychologically damaging for both you and the dog and illegal as well. If you feel really strongly about it, go talk to a psychologist. It's not normal or good.

I want to get an Irish Setter puppy. My mom won't take any other dog and she won't let it be shipped and we cant travel to far to get it. So basically I need an Irish Setter puppy from the Philadephia PA area. Anywhere in New Jersey and Delaware is fine. I've looked everywhere and every place I email has no puppies available. (link)

Try www.petfinder.com. This is a website linked to rescues and shelters all over the country! You can find any kind of dog there. I've found two purebred dogs that way, and I know lots of other people who have, too. Good luck!
