is it true that you stop growing after you get your first period? if not then does getting your period early affect your growth or have anything to do with it? (link)
No , you don't stop growing after you get your period. My mother is a nurse and I have asked her this question about a MILLION times before. Usually girls stop growing around the age 15 or 16. Sometimes younger if you matured(get your period) at an early age, and sometimes later if you matured late. You ever hear the expression girls mature faster than boys? Well it's true and boys (usually) don't stop growing until their late teens like 18 or 19.
Getting your period does affect your growth though. Once you get your period you will mature perbically, but such things as your height will go slower, but not stop.

PS: If you started when you were 11 and are 14 now, you probably will stop growing around 16 or maybe even 17. It really depends how tall you are now. Feel free to ask me any more questions anytime!

Hope this helped!

is it normal if you are 13 and haven't started? i did in november in 2005 and all my friends say that it was my cherry so idk if it's that or my period and if it isnt my period, please answer the first question. Thanks so much. (link)
There's nothing wrong and it's completely normal. I myself got my first period when I was eleven and am now 13 and am still skipping months and have a very irregular flow and schedule. It just depends on how fast you mature and everyone is different. I have gone more than three months without having my period and I got extremely worried, but it's just that I'm young and my period is crazy. Just give it time and it will come (if it already hasn't) or let it even out and become slightly more predictable.
