ok so i have an assignment about stats-probability.A. one of the questions ask me why do we need randomisation in the probality invatigation we did and to mention possible bias.
the investigation was to determine how many red and yellow plastic teddy bear toys were in the black bay. altogether there are 11 teddies and we pulled out one teddy and recorded the colour of that teddy on a tally chart.we did this 140times.
B. another question was why we preselected to pull out the teddybears 140 times out of the bag and to mention possible sources of bias. i answered this and said that it was so it was fair because if you leave the test open ended then you would keep going to get the answer you want.
can anyone add to this at all?

On part B you are half right, 'you need a percentage rate and a margin of error. Although 140 is hard to convert to 100 at first site, every 14 would equal 10% of the sample. Randomisation is important even here so as to demonstrate that as with humans not every plastic bear is going to be green.'

i wish to dye my hair red my original hair color is a medium ash brown and here is what i want to know.
please tell me a list of red hair colors that i should being looking for, for my hair since it is already dark, and my skin tone is white. what type of red should i do.
i was thinking auburn red but i don't know, i want a medium red whatever color that is.

I did this last month and have proof that it works... Need: Revlon Colorsilk in med. auburn followed by light brown then light auburn then strawberry blonde and a big bottle of deep moisturising conditioner. Process is as follows: dye with first box today leaving in for 75 minutes(to lighten the dark hair), rinse out and condition for 10+ minutes. Repeat in 4-6 days with box 2, again in 4-6 days with box 3, then in 4-6 days add box 4 for only 25-45 minutes and condition for 10+... It is safe as long as the dye is amonia/bleach free(look at the brand I mentioned), and you MUST condition for 10+ minutes when you rinse out each box!
(I am a naturally black/brown-haired caucasian who now using the method listed above has 'perfect shade of' redish brown)

My parents don't really like me because they think i am mean at times. Like what happened today was:
Mom accidentaly stepped on my foot
Me "why did you step on my foot?"
Mom "It was an accident do you even think i will do something like that? i never saw your foot, after bringing all your stuff near you, you ask me a question like this?"
me "I am sorry i just asked it came out of my mouth"
Mom "I can't take it anymore, there is too much fights going on at home, its so unpeaceful."

I hate to say this first part, but been there, done that, got the scars to prove it... What you are dealing with is not easy, yet over time it gets better! Five things you need right now are a note pad, a diary, a cell phone, a pen, and faith. Leave notes for your parents saying 'I do love you, and I am sorry!' adding in any details you want.
Write all feelings/emotions in your diary, leaving it open on your bed. When you are feeling hurt by your parents don't imediately say any thing, yet go out of view an grab your phone. Call some one, even a church, or if desperate-an imaginary friend(don't scoff yet)... start the water works, and explain your feelings on the phone and loud enough for your parents to hear-preferably while in view at this point. I know it's hard, but I had to run away to save my own life, went through a few years of therapy, and hate when other kids are facing what I did. I wish you luck and will always be available to help out!

Ok i gave up on liking my friend hes a total immature jerk. I'd say just be safe, and when it comes to face-to-face meetings make sure he comes to your house and meets your parents... That is solely for your safety! And who knows? Daddy MIGHT just aprove(in this case it's a good thing)!

so i'm turning 18 soon, and my mom is paying for my tattoo that i've been wanting.
but the problem is, is i cant decide what i want.
I kinda thought maybe something religious, but, my religion can change here in a few years.
i was thinking a peace sign and a heart and some music notes maybe? cause i really like those.
i had this idea to get a barcode, and put my parents birth digits on there, like i'm an item of my parents, but i still dont know.

Look at your size, look at how visible you want this walking into parent/teacher conferences and other professional meetings, look at how it can be hidden when the need arises, look at how it would apear if you gain/lose tons of weight, look at who/what you are.
Ink is habit forming, set limits! AVOID RED INK! Ask around for referals, check licenses, OBSERVE EVERY THING! What you 'brand' your self with is going to be permanent, so think long and hard before you do any thing!
Here are a couple ideas-a picture of a lost pet/relative, a piece of sporting equipment/dancing shoes, your name translated into another language....

My mom had breast cancer when I was little and I want to start getting checked for breast cancer. I heard that this is breast cancer awareness month, I think, and so I thought maybe there were some free places this month I could have a breast cancer screening done at...does anyone know of a place? Your best bet to 'save the tatas' would be to call the department of health...also try self-exams on a regular basis-if you notice any thing 'wierd' then hunt for the professionals!
