About BeingWhitney

I'm just a 29-yr-old woman, really quite simple. I describe myself as Simply Complex, because I can be like a walking contradiction! I LOVE helping people & I'm the one people always turn to for advice! I decided to start up this column again, now that I've had 10 more years of life experience. I still keep in touch with several people from my old column on here! Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me! I'm very friendly & love to help!
P.S. Any rude, nasty remarks aimed towards myself or anyone else on here WILL be deleted, no questions asked!

Should I do this.I feel it would just be for me wheather acting,or modeling to tryout for?I want to get famous and i'm 14 year old girl' going in to 8th grade this August.I'mma tried to do barbizon.com and see if it will help out for tryouts the next summer.Do you think it would help me out for acting.I'mma kind of a shy girl I will call the number when I grad 8th grade to see how much it costs.I really want to try it this summer, but didn't do it.
I've never heard anything but NEGATIVE stories about Barbizon! You should absolutely avoid places that ask you for money up front! If you really want to get into acting and what not, check for drama or acting classes & coaches where you live, or even in your school! Sometimes a school Drama or Chorus teacher can advise you where to go, or who to talk to about courses & other steps you'll need. Best of luck to you sweetie! :)

I had a friend I considered to be my best friend. But for my bday 30th she called an hr before some of us were going out to celebrate to tell me she wasn't going because she felt akward around my friends she didn't even know.. but she can go out with other friends with their friends no problem. And she also had a get together and invited other friends that ive hung out with but didnt invite me. We haven't talked since, and she is making it look like to others I was the bad guy. Over it? Wouldn't you be?
I would for sure be very tired of it! Have you gone straight to her and asked her what her deal is? If not, that's what I recommend doing ASAP. You deserve answers & you deserve the truth from someone who is SUPPOSED to be your best friend!!
Her excuses sound quite lame to me, and sadly it may be that she's trying to distance herself for whatever reason. This is why I think trying to talk to her about it is the best thing! Hope this helps a bit!
