I want to make my hair wavy. I already have natural waves, but they aren't that strong, and anyway they're frizzy. My friend uses mousse and scrunches up her hair, and she also uses tongs. I told my mum I wanted to make my hair wavy, but she keeps saying that the only way you can have waves in your hair is to get a perm. It's not, is it?? Because my mate says she's never had a perm. But whatever I say, my mum keeps saying that you can't have wavy hair unless you get a perm, my mum ALWAYS thinks she's right, I can't get through to her. Anyway, how do you make your hair wavy? Please tell me any products/tongs etc that are good, and if there are any sites that tell you how to get wavy hair then I'd appreciate it. I used to curl my hair with tongs, because I did Irish dance competitions. But the curls just fell out like 30 minutes later, so if you know how to actually keep the waves in place, that would be helpful too (I tried tresemme gel spray but that didn't work). well i used to have very very straight hair when i was little and my mom loved to curl it and she kept curling and curling my hair until naturally it just started gettin wavy maybe u can try doing that but it may not work because i was young
