I have a question for anyone that might know, preferably somebody who knows from experience. How much does it cost to get an ambulance to come pick you up? Will the people who run the ambulance be able to help me or do they need to take me to the hospital? I guess overall what I really need to know just in case it is how much does an ambulance ride cost? Does it vary or is there pretty much a set price? I have been having some problems but I don't know if I can afford to go. Can anybody help me?
You will need to contact your local hospital to get the exact cost. They can provide you with the most accurate information. Once they ambulance arrive they will check you,and if they find a need to transport to the hospital they will take you unless you refuse(you CAN do that). You will receive a bill in the mail,separate from the bill from the treament you receive from the "emergency room". You're better off going to a urgent care... Or If its that serious ..just take a cab.. , catch a ride.. At least you'll cut out one expense...
