I missed some of my cxc chemistry labs and now i dont know what to do and their going to be handed up as chemistry SBA s is there a site or anywhere i can go to get my labs done? (link)

that depends more than anything else on whether your school allows one or whether your teacher prepares their material for it. most schools that allow it don't require their teacher post the labs online-if it's even possible with whatever current experiment is happening-because it's left at the instructor's discretion. the best thing you could do, right now, is contact your instructor for information straight from them, because ultimately no one else will know for sure. get on your school's website or go to their office and get the contact info for your teacher. call them and leave a message AND email them(you never know which method a teacher prefers unless they've told you, and some don't check their school-assigned email addresses at all, so don't be irritated if you don't get a response; they were at the class you missed, you're the one that missed it; it's your responsibility now.). don't be demanding, acknowledge that you shouldn't have missed the labs but that you really want to learn and make up the work, and ask if that's at all possible. they may schedule you a meeting to talk or see if you're serious about it-don't blow them off. also, most college instructors have office hours; if they haven't gotten back to you within a few days, show up at their office during their office hours. they list their office hours through their department and you can always find out what they are. good luck!

I'm a senior in high school. Just finished my very last college application last week.
Most colleges I applied to were either Ivies or almost as (if not equally) selective / prestigious.
But I've been thinking. Schools like these tend to put enormous pressure on their students (does Cornell REALLY have the highest suicide rate or is that just myth?). Now, I KNOW my chances of getting into any Ivy are slim to none, so I probably shouldn't even be worrying about this, but.. is four years of stress really worth it? I mean, for the most part, a Bachelors from Harvard and a Bachelors from a state university only really differ in ... the name of the school. Yes, it can get you ahead in getting a job, but it won't KEEP you ahead. And yes, of course it'd be nice to not be surrounded by complete idiots for the next four years of my life (though there are idiots everywhere).
Is it worth it?

you'll only get out of whatever school you go to what you work to get out of it, knowledge-wise. two things; a degree from Harvard is infinitely better because of the professional connections you make while IN school. once you get past bachelor and are working towards a Master's(which is the other of the two things; everybody, or at least the amount of people going into professional careers rather than grunt work or trades, goes to college now. everybody has a bachelor's. the only way to get ahead is to get a Master's; a bachelor's might have been enough professionally and opportunity-wise in your parent's day, but it IS NOT anymore. the equivalent in opportunity is a Master's.) degree, you're going to be in grad school, limited classes, close working with instructors that value your capability or they wouldn't have selected you for the program; through this, you make connections with these professors and their colleagues, who are names in their(your) field. you'll then have professional connections and opportunities for after you graduate, which will be invaluable for finding work, getting grants, and doing what you want and getting paid for it. the higher the school, the more often you start out-and continue on with-good connections, because you will most likely never again have half as much of a chance to make nearly as many of those professional contacts, especially since the students in your graduating class will also be professional interconnections as you all work your way up.

I had sex with my boyfriend last night around 6 o clock, I just realized I started ovulating Wednesday, and it was Thrusday that we had sex, before we did, I had given him oral and he ejaculated, then he went to the bathroom, and it was an hour and a half to two hours later that we had un protected sex for about 2 minutes. What are my chances of getting pregnant? I am thinking about taking the Plan B pill tommorow around 12 in the afternoon, will I be okay? Please help me.. (link)

no matter how slim(because honestly, your chances aren't super in the red, but any sperm is still sperm) there's always a chance of getting pregnant from residual semen. most sperm left externally will die within a few hours. don't freak out too bad. but DO take the plan b pill if you want the peace of mind, and you DO want to avoid a pregnancy; DO NOT wait until tomorrow at noon. take it NOW. the sooner, the more chance EXPONENTIALLY that if there's a problem headed your way it will help you avoid it. it doesn't work 'within 72 hours'; it works BEFORE IMPLANTATION, which occurs, if it's going to, WITHIN 72 hours. that means you can't take it and have it work if you've already had implantation occur; only if it HAS NOT happened yet-so if sperm found that egg of yours, and it implants and THEN you take the pill NOTHING happens; if sperm found your egg and fertilization occurs, and it searches out the uterine wall and you've already taken the pill, implantation will be PREVENTED. you take the second one, it extends the effect. that way, the effect itself lasting three days, it won't have a chance to implant and will instead wash harmlessly out into your panties or while you're going to the bathroom, and you'll never even know.

Here's a picture of my belly button piercing..
(Ignore the lines on my stomach, I just had the heating pad on it haha)
http://tinypic.com/r/orqrlx/6
I got it pierced in June and I put a new ring in it and I'm pretty sure my skin was rejecting the piercing because of the type of metal the ring was. Now the skin over the piercing is very thin. I'm wondering if I should take the piercing out, let it heal, and get it repierced. And if so, how long will that process take?
I need advice on this ASAP because I don't want my skin to rip.
Thanks so much! :) (link)

you're going to have to wait at least six weeks on that one and KEEP IT CLEAN; sometimes with re-pierced belly buttons they'll reject slower the next time, because they're pierced behind scar tissue-but they'll still often reject. for many people, a belly button ring is a commitment. you might have to go through this every several months or year(or less for some people), as it's a part of the body that pushes forward to create new skin; it's a surface piercing. it's not through permanent tissue, like an ear or a nose or lip; it's through surface skin that regularly replaces itself. don't worry, then, if it rejects again, as long as you don't get infections or problems that affect you internally, or unless you don't scar well(although that's an aesthetic personal decision, not a health one). you'll just have to decide each time whether it's worth it to go through it again, and wear a really light ring when it's not going to show so that it takes as long as possible for the problem to recur.
