hi there im only a thirteen year old girl who is scared about starting my period, i started getting back aches and belly pains a couple days ago and today when i went to the bathroom i was scared that "it" was going to happen right then and there. but it didn't instead i got just a small amount of what looked like blood in my clit area and it made me scared. Can i have advice about what to do? is this normal? (link)
Every girl has to go through this phase and we all get terrified because we start bleeding from our vagina and we don't know what's going on. What your going through is all normal. When a girl is about to start their period they get painful cramps, backaches and sometimes your hormones start heightening up.Some girls get nauseas and they start getting headaches. It all depends on what kind of pain level you are with your period. At first you will spot blood and then you will start bleeding your first time getting your period it will be light because you just started it. Then when you get your period again it will either be heavy or light but it's a good thing it means your going into womanhood good luck.
