Howdy...I'm Osiris, a rather crazy arist/student from another planet thing. Brown hair, brown eyes, kind of skinny. I don't wear makeup. Two piercings in each ear. Painful, yes, but it looks spiffy. I'm probably the only advice giver who is as old as the universe...yep. Fawoosh.

when is the best time to get your puppy nuetered? I have a puppy and he is like starting to hump his stuffed animal dogs..lol (link)

xD Screw the stuffed animals!
Anyhow. I think the best time is when he is at the...um...'maturing' stage. It's about 10 months or so when his sex organs are fully mature and he may be nuetered. This will make the dog a bit less agressive.

I have a beautiful long-haired calico cat that I inherited when my grandmother passed away. I have had cats all my life and have other cats now also, but I've never had a long-haired cat before. I brush her quite a bit but she still regularly vomits the most disgusting hairballs I have ever encountered. I tried buying this hairball remedy paste stuff and have even bought the hairball rememdy treats, but she won't have anything to do with either of them. Does anyone who is familiar with long-haired cats have any other suggestions? (link)

Dear Cat Owner,
I am a cat fanatic! Any cat questions, you can come ask me, and chances are I will be able to figure out the answer.
Hairballs are just nature's way of getting rid of hairclogs. Long-haired cats are hard to groom, so I suggest a brushing. A LOT of brushing. It'll get rid of excess fur and can also minimize the licking. If you must, give her a bath.

Dear Dog Owner,
Oh, puppies on the way! Bathing dogs is very hard when they're hyperactive...trust me, I've gotten soaked several times washing the neighbor's puppy. However, you can give her a bath when she's pregnant. Make sure the water is warm, but not scalding hot. Make it about the tempurature of a cat's body. Use a very gentle shampoo made for dogs, and don't get any in her eyes...she won't like that. Since she is a German shepherd and is a larger breed, bathe her outside in a kiddie pool. If you must, you can spray her with a hose on the gentle spray. The settings on a hose 'head' are usually five or so, and I use the very gentle spray. Good luck with the bath...and the delivery. Tell the dog I said "Hello."
Good luck,
Osiris
