hey this is ama :>] i love coming onto advicenators to help people in need. even though i'm only 13, i think i give pretty good advice. i hate insects, spiders especially, and i get annoyed easily. but when i'm on my good side, i'm patient, but when i'm on my bad, i'm no good at human communication. i would love to grow up and build my own pet hotel, but for now, i'm starting small and taking my time growing up.

Name him as a fruit-
Apricot if he has apricot colored fur
Taro(in japan it means first son)
Name him/her after someone you love-
best friends
old friends
rememberance of people.

You need to make sure that you give the best quality to your pets. Put advertising out in newspapers, on radio stations, and offer coupons. Put paper printed ads in people's mailboxes and offer specials.
Make sure that the customers are always satisfied, it is their baby you're taking care of.

Hi, im starting a dog walking business but i am having trouble finding a suitable name for it. I am planning on doing dog walking, pet sitting (for only cats and dogs), possibly pet photography, making treats for cats and dogs and pet visiting. I just learned that my dog of twelve who is a chocolate lab is going to be put to sleep. My mom died when i was younger, and he was like my memory of herr.. she loved that dogg. I wanna spend my last few days with him doing something.. but he has cancer. It hurts for him to walk, and he won't eat. I don't know what to do. I haven't been myself.. and i don't like that.. what else should i do?

I've only had my cairn for a year, but when you really connect with your dog, it hurts to know that one day, he has to go. and i'm incredibly sorry at your loss.
You don't have to do physical things with your lab. Pet him, hug him, cuddle with him, or even sleep with him. Talk to him, help him, and just spend your last few days spending the most time you can with him. Just spend time with him, and remember that his going away is not your fault. (: i hope all goes well. dont worry-- when he has to go, remember all those others who went through with the same thing- and that he loves you.

My dog is 4 years old and housebroken. Lately (six months and counting) he pees in the house. He usually picks something that is laying on the floor, shoes, bookbags, clothes. He is crated when we are not home and is on a leash when he is outside. What can we do to stop this? (link)

I have a cairn terrier and he does absolutely the same thing. The thing is, you need to let him know that "no" means "no". I have a wii and my cairn even destroyed a game disc for it as well. Make sure to never leave things around the house, close doors and keep boundaries! When he's in the house and you're around, keep an eye on him. If he touches something he shouldn't, say no! don't say bad dog, just say no. no, and shoo him away. keep on doing it repeatedly and give him a treat he likes everytime he moves away when you say no. for peeing on the floor, my dog was looking for attention when he did this. just make sure he goes to go potty every 1 hr - 1 1/2, and whenever he pees, roll up a thin newspaper and hit him. it won't hurt, but the sound will scare him and repeatedly hit the ground with the newspaper saying "bad ground. bad ground". don't say "bad dog," just blame the floor. the dog will appreciate you not getting mad at him-- and give him lots of love! he wants attention too!
