about

Hey! My name's Bowman. I'm 17 years old, and live in Wales (UK). I'm a really friendly person, and I'll try to answer your questions as honestly and helpfully as possible.

I'm a pretty independant person. I try to question everything; sometimes this even includes my own faith (I'm a Christian), but I believe that questioning your life is the only way to better it.

I'm at Sixth Form college at the moment, doing my AS levels in English, History, ICT and Philosophy.

advice

Okay,
I absolutley LOVE LOVE LOVE singing, and acting, but my play is this friday and i have the lead role, everyone always talks about that when they perform, they feel really good. How do i get over my fear!! I already had an embarrassment on stage once, i cant do it again. How do i distract myself from the sudience. Tips would be helpful ASAP

Well, being into acting myself, I can only give you one piece of advice that has worked for me EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been on stage. Pretend that it's a rehearsal. You need to reduce your fear, and just do that by trying to push your mind into thinking that yeah, sure there are people sitting out in the auditorium, but I am here to enjoy myself, and that's what I'm going to do.

Another good thing to do is, just before you go on stage (you can do it backstage or in the wings!) close your eyes and think good thoughts. I know, it sounds really corny, but it's worked for me, and it worked for half of the people on stage with me!

Break a leg for Friday, and don't forget: have fun!
