Don't worry about asking your parents about birth control. Most of the time it doesn't even really help all that much. Just make sure you use a condom and that you are ready. Don't go into something that you really don't want to do. Follow your heart!

Alright, my girlfriend just ended her period and we were thinking of sex. I tried to get a condom but with no luck. Now I checked up on it and people say after a period, there is no egg. If I were you, I wouldn't bother with it unless you can get a condom. Don't take the risk because I don't think that either of you would be ready to raise a child. It's a big responsibility. And just because she ended doesn't mean that her egg hasn't reproduced. Sperm lives in a girl for 5-7 days and her egg could reproduce within that time and she could possibly get pregnant. Don't do it unless you are both completely ready and you can use a condom. Don't have unprotected sex becuase you don't know when an "accident" will happen!
