Q: ok well this year at school,i have a new friend(a girl like me). and i mean we are so much alike and all but i cant tell if thats a good thing or a bad thing.plus i had two other friends who i hung out with all 6th and 7th grade,and now that i have this new friends its like we arent friends anymore, and our little click is broken up..i dont know if i should tell my new friend or if i should just let her keep on dragging me away from my other friends. she makes me go to the gym with her alone and stuff, and i cant figure out wat to do...can anyone help?

First of all, people change. You may not be hanging out with your other friends as much just because you drifted apart, whether because of your new friend or not. But if you really think you are spending too much time with your new friend, then you SHOULD talk to her. Just let her know how you feel and see how she feels about it.

I am in a HUGE fight with my very best friend who is very complicated to get along with. Fights with her are harder to survive then World War! This was all about a boy but now we are just fighting because the boy thing all turned into "I hate u we were never friends" and stuff. I said sorry so many times and ofcourse she has no interest in being my friend again what so ever! I want to just forget her but then I think about how much fun we have together and I then dont want to lose my best friend! What should I do?

Try talking to her about it. Tell her how you feel about it and that you don't want to lose her as a friend. If she can't get over the fight, she is not a true friend. If she really is your best friend, she will want to stay friends with you too. You should never let a little arguement (especially about guys) get in the way of your friendship. Friendship is one of the most important things in life.

Q: So my bestfriend has recently gotten jealous over me and my boyfriend dating. Shes been single for over a year and a half now and I really want to set her up with someone. Latly she's had alot of guys that have hinted they want to hookup with her, but I'm not sure if they would go out with her. Anyhow, I want to set her up with one of them but I'm not really friends with any of them, how do I go about doing this? She won't get mad if I set her up with someone. Thanks, btw I'm 14/f

If you are going to set her up with someone that you want her to stay with for a while, you want to make sure he is someone she will like, and someone that will like her. Don't just pick any guy that says he will date her because it won't last that long if they have ABSOLUTLY NOTHING in common. I know everyone says opposites attract, and that is somewhat true. People that have too much in common get bored with eachother very easily, but people that are too different from eachother, tend to argue about things A LOT. So you should pick someone that likes some of the same things as your friend but not TOO much in common. And don't set her up on a blind date...Let her meet him before you set them up on a date. (I have learned from much expierence that blind dates don't work to well.)

I have always wanted to have my own advice column because many of my friends and family have come to me for advice, (especially my younger sisters and thier friends), and I always have something to tell them. I thought it would be nice to give advice to other people that need it as well. One good quality about me when it comes to my advice is that I have expierience both in the teen world and the adult world. I am also a soon to be mother and have some good advice for mothers and soon to be mothers. I have been through a lot for my age and I am more than willing to help ANYONE who needs it, and I hope I can do so.
