I've been best friends with a girl named Kaitlin for over 11 years now and we're both 16 (I'm a girl too btw). Lately she's been so consumed with her social status that she doesn't even talk to me or even look at me anymore because I'm not "cool enough". We both play on the volleyball team and she really isn't a very good player, but she gets really jealous because I always play all the time and I got moved up to varsity this year while she didn't. I get the feeling that she talks behind my back because now the whole volleyball team hates me and I'm naturally a very quiet person so I don't know why they'd have any reason to dislike me. I don't have very many other friends. It's really hard for me to talk to other people, and I don't want to be friends with Kaitlin anymore. What do I do? And should I try to get revenge? (she also purposely ditches me at dances and stole my bf just to get me angry...)

hey! i know how you feel i recently got ditched by my friend too lol...i just don't talk to her anymore and pray that i will find new friends that are nice and won't talk about me behind my back, so far it has came true

i have had this best freind of mine since i was in 4th grade. recently in 8th grade she and i started acting really different. i cared what other people thougth of me, and she couldnt care less...i knwo i shoudlnt care...but thats not what im askin advice about. well one time she told me that she had to go to the doctor and i might never see her again and left it at that. so i was worried. well it turned out that she had family problems and she was cutting herself. well we 'broke up" as friends and my parents are always askin why dont i ever talk to her anymore. im afarid that they wont except that we broke up bcuz she acted weird and i just thougth she was plain weird for an answer...what do i do?

Hey! yea, see i have a friend like that. Her mom beats her up and she did try cutting herself...but i've been started to hang out with her more b/c if i do so then i mite can change how she is like for example i'm a major jesus freak and i invited her to church. So i think you should hang out with her...you never know what can happen. And people shouldnt judge you on who you hang out with...that gives a bad impression on who they are if they do. So just try to hang out with her, things can change!
