I told my best friend something that i didnt want anyone to find out, and she tells someone i dont think i can trust her ever again should i?

This is a toughy. Sit her down and talk to her... ask her why she told other people the secret you told her. Mention to her that you told her because she's your best friend and she trusted you, and even let her know that she did break the trust line. I wouldn't recommend ending the friendship, but... I wouldn't trust her with those big of secrets. Obviously since she told someone, she can't keep a secret... and isn't your best friend.

how do you know if that one friend is that one true "best friend" that will stick with you for life, thru all the bad and good times. i cant really explain what i mean by that one best friend but i think you might be able to get what i mean. thanks (link)

You might not know at first. I didn't. Some things started happening in my life... and I didn't know who I could tell and who I couldn't. The people who realized something was wrong with me, they were my true friends. You know, you don't have to have one best friend. I still haven't found my one best friend, because I have 4. One guy, 3 girls. You just realize who's there and who isn't there... then you will know, who the friends are. Just because you get into arguments/fights... you don't just end the friendship. If you all can see past the argument and work it out, obviously that's a true friend. Both of you all are good friends. There's lots of ways to see who is your true/best friends and who isn't. You'll find it, trust me =) Even if you can't have one... it's always better to have more than just one best friend.

ok so my guy friend lives around the block. directly behind me. so i just hop the wall and go through his back yard and im at his house lol..well ive had feelings for him FOREVER. and last time we hung out...he later told me he thought about kissing me...when he said that i didnt want him to know i liked him cause i had a bf at the time so i was like um ew kyle..thats gross. but now we havent really hung out for a while..and i hope he still likes me. hes always busy hanging out with his friend..who happens to be a girl.he NEVER IMs me anymore, i always IM him now. whenever i ask him to hangout..he says umm...maybe. i might hangout with my friend..but ill let u know after i call her. he used to always ask me to hangout..ive already asked him if hes mad at me..hes like no not at all..so i donno whats going on..advice? Tell him how you feel. Sit him down, and talk to him. Ask why he hasn't been calling you or i/ming you to hang out, and suddenly he has a girl whose a friend. Maybe, he got turned off when you said "ew kyle... that's gross" and thought you didn't like him. Tell him your feelings, you don't want it to slip away out of your hands. Take this opportunity, that's all I have to say.
