Q: My friend is obsessed with a guy who isn't interested, like at all. She is really obsessed with him and is always stalking him on fb or counting how many times he blinks in class. She thinks he's in love with her but they font even speak and he has a girl friend. always says how she hates herself and has. Started drinking/taking 5 Panadol at a time and even self harming. I am rely worried about her and I love her to pieces but I have other friends too and I can't spend 24hrs a day telling her she's perfect, that's not fair on them or me. I really want to help her though! I've convinced her to jo to a councillor but it isn't helping...what do I do?!! Age:14 gender:female

Well the worst thing to do for a person who self harms is suggest they get help.I self harms also, and have been doing it for three years. My friends have suggested I get help like you did and that just makes things worst.
Try understanding why she hates herself.Just be there for her. When she needs someone to talk to be there.Right now she is more important than your other friends.Self harm is a life or death situation. You want to help her but you have to go about doing it the right way.Dont just tell her to stop, because that will make it worst.
Learn more about self harm.Once you look more into it you can start to understand why we do it.But whatever you do dont judge her.Be there to support her feelings.Encourage her to talk to you about how she feels.
Hope it helps.

No,there's absolutely nothing wrong with it,and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
There's nothing wrong with feeling like your being cared for.
And just because your a guy, doesn't mean anything, you can do whatever you feel like as long as it's reasonable.

Q: a friend of mind seen a girl i know who i haven't seen in awhile.he talks with her about me and she seemed really happy(face lights up)remembering
me, she then begins to tell him that i was a sweetheart and that she always liked me.but i never even noticed, because she must have concealed it very well.i had no idea she did and how long she has liked me.when ever in school, she talked but not very much except with her friend girl.but when ever i said hi to her she would say it back and smile slightly.this has me very confused, sense the way she was around me back then
in school, seems very different from what my friend mentioned when he brought me up to her.

Well,I can see how your confused, because I seem to do the same thing she does.
It might be because she was shy,and didn't know how you would respond if she told you she liked you. Most girls fear rejection,so they try to avoid it at all costs.
And that smile she gave you was probably her way of trying to hint to you that she likes you.
Hope it helps, and feel free to message if you need anymore help on aything.

Hey.
Your situation seems really complicated. There's thousands of reasons why she could've done that.
1.) She probably didn't want the other guy to keep trying to pick fights.
2.) Maybe she didn't mean to say it in a mean way.
3.) Maybe she just wasn't having a good day,and was easily irratated.
Or,maybe you could bring it to her attention, and ask her to explain why she did it.I know I prefer to be asked why I did something I did that confused them.
Uhm,I hope it helps. And if you need anymore advice, feel free to ask.
