Q: my closest guy friend asked me out a few weeks ago and i said no. the reasons i gave him were 1 - we go to different colleges that are 100 miles apart (even though he visits me about every week), and 2 - i plan to leave the u.s. in a couple of years, so i don't want to be involved in anything that might lead to a serious relationship because then it might cause too much pain. but the thing is, even though those reasons are true, i also didn't really want to go out with him because i wasn't sure if i was attracted to him. now i think i'm beginning to have some feelings for him and i don't know what to do. we're both going to be in our hometown over the winter break and we're going to hang out a lot, but i don't know if i should tell him that i want to date him. i don't want to cause him any pain, but i'm fraid that if we went out, it might end up very painfully - either our friendship will be ruined, or it will be very painful to say good-bye when i leave. should i try going out with him or should i keep my feelings to myself? maybe it'll be easier if i try stop hanging out with him as much?

Ok gurl for one do not stop hangin out with him thats not the right way yes it will be easier but its not supposed to0 be easy i say take a chance for once becuz you will regret it later on when you think "i wonder whta would've happened if..." you dont want that yes it will be hard, painful and rough but then in the end it will feel so0 go0d to0 have someone you love and you know you worked for it
