Ok, so over spring break I was on a cruise, and well, while I was on there i met a girl. We kind of talked but didn't really hang out until the last night where we messed around (made out more or less) and then she went to bed and it was supposedly over. Well since then we've been talking over email and IMing and such, but I didn't hear from her for about a week and I kind of forgot her last name. It's really been bothering me, but I don't want to just ask her because it just seems kind of horrible that this girl messed around with me and I don't know her last name, or don't remember it at least.
Ok this one is simple..... do you remember her first name? I hope so....if you don't, then disregard this message. But if you do remember her first name, then this is how to handle this situation. It worked for me!! Next time you talk with her, ask her what her address is. When she asks you why, tell her you have something you want to send her. When she starts spitting out her address, ask her how she spells her last name. You have to play it cool though. Just be like ...oh, how do you spell your last name again?...when she says "guess", just say, "I don't really know, thats why I'm asking....." If she still says "guess" then just say, "ok, nevermind...I won't send it". This'll work 9 times out of 10. If you don't want anything to do with her but just want her last name, then don't ever mail her anything.... he he he...trust me. This will work. If you don't want to go through all this trouble, then just ask dummy! :)
I have a friend who is heavily into drugs. She isn't doing it to have fun, she is doing it to escape problems in her life. She has had a very difficult life, so it isn't like an emo thing. I am too close to her to help her. I have been through this with her many times. My question is, what can I do to try and get her away from all of the drugs without making her mad at me. Also if there is anything you could suggest, where I could help her, it would be much appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance. This problem has really got me down.

Ok first of all, how old is your friend? Many of my friends do drugs also. I've even tried them several times (the hard ones also). What kind of drugs is she into? The reason I ask, is because if it is marijuana (I'm not saying that pot is ok), but she is at less risk then if she were on coke or crystal meth. Many of the reasons why kids start taking drugs is because they want to fit in. But after they try it, they see that drugs actually DO make you feel good. My suggestion is that you should pick up a phone book and just look in the yellowpages. There are so many "help" facilities that you can turn to. You may need to interviene (despite the fact that you are very close friends). Sometimes the strongest love is "tough love". Your friend may not like any of this, and she will give you a hard time about it (so expect it), but when she sobers up, she'll realize just how much of a friend you really are. Stop the problem now, and she will thank you for the rest of your lives.
My best friend is really rich and she always likes to brag about her $3.2 million mansion and how mine is only worth $1.2 million. I never really had a problem with her being so "Oh mine is better than yours" because shes done it with our cars, our clothes, etc. But its beginning to bug me because she wrote me this really long email about how she went to Hollister Co. and bought $3,000 worth of stuff. She began listing it one by one. 37 logo shirts ($721), 7 pairs of capris ($276)...and she listed it all the way to underwear, flip flops, mini skirts, shorts, bathing suits, and fragrance. Is that just a little too much? Because I think so. See my family is rich, but we like to save our money. But her family, blows it all on stuff they dont really need. Her $3,000 wardrobe will be thrown out when spring/summer is over. The email really bothered me...I'm not jealous. I can go to Hollister and spend a lot of $$ too. But, how can I teach her that money is not everything...and tell her she can save money while still looking great in all the latest fashion and styles?
Money ins't ever a problem until you don't have any. There are many unfortunate people out there who don't have money to spend on clothes, eating, or shelter for that matter. Ok so she has a $3.2 million dollar mansion and you have a $1.2 million dollar mansion. Be thankful that you even LIVE in a mansion. I don't have a mansion. I don't have all this money to blow on clothes, however, I am healthy. Don't take your health for granted. Be thankful that you are alive, not about the $3000 wardrobe. This is the right way to approach life!!
