My boyfriend and i have been together for about eight months. One of my friend chelsea decided to tell all the girls at lunch how much cuter her boyfriend is compared to my boyfriend. Chelsea and I are both seniors in highschool. When i found this out I was furious. My hands were shaking and i wanted so much to say something to her about that. The reason why this also made me so angry is because i'm the one that hooked her and her boyfriend up. I was friends with her boyfriend before. I don't know what to think about this. Am i doing the right thing by ignoring her? i plan to not talk to her and keep my distance because i don't need to have friends like her around. another detail about the story is that the same week she had been complaining to me about how some girl was making fun of her boyfriend. We were both talking about how wrong that was, but then she turns around and does the same thing to me. she told the whole group not to tell me what she had said about my boyfriend being ugly. (link)

This is just high school drama. By reading this she is possibly jealous, or just wants more attention. ignoring her is the best thing to do, or just ignore her comment. 20 years from now looking back at what she said, would it really even be important?
to me however it would not. its a stupid comment there are way more important things to worry about in high school like your education. In high school you are building your life. how you react to things in high school, the education you get and so forth is whats gonna put you where you go in your future. Just ignore it, live life. its to short to worry about whos bf is cuter.
