I forgot my rough draft for my book report + my final for it is due monday FIRST PERIOD. what do i do. its worth like half my grade + im already doing bad in that class.
britnee
Hi! Here are the options:
-Contact the teacher and explain your situation somehow (through email or phone)
-Maybe you can have someone fax you important sheets? Or re-do the rough draft?
-Get your parents to write a note to your teacher making up an excuse (but first convince your parents to do that - explain that it was an accident and to beg them to help you out just this one time) :)
-Go early on Monday to meet your teacher and explain the situation.
- AND MOST OF ALL: R.E.L.A.X. Seriously, I've been in your situation before and it all works out, trust me. & good luck. If you need anything else, just send one to my inbox. Much love!! xoxo
do u know any kind of site that i can use to post my poetry besides poetry.com?? -thx for all who help

My teacher put us in groups and she put me with all ppl i basically hate! and i don't think we'll get anything accomplished cuz none of like each other! what should i do? thanks!
You should probably just tell the teacher that, but before that you should try settling things out by yourself. This could be a chance to make friends with them, its better to make enemies friends rather than keeping them enemies forever. Who knows? You may find a friend within someone you thought was an enemy? This could be the chance. Try that first, and if all else fails, tell the teacher to change you to a different group. If you don't want to tell it to his/her face, leave a note on their desk or e-mail him/her if your school has an e-mail system (mine does).
I have a midterm tomarrow and i cant seem to concentrate...or understand it and i never seem to remember anything and all i want to do is play on the computer or go outside...can anyone give me advice on how to concentrate more and remember more things? i need help really fast!...ill rate high..please help
~Midterm problems~
I have this problem too lol so don't worry. I've tried asking people for advice before on how to concentrate more instead of getting distracted and wanting to have fun. Well you have to MAKE studying fun - like as fun as playing on the computer or going outside. There is a stereotype about studying which is that it is boring, but that is not true!!! No matter how many peoples advice you read about this, in the end, YOU have to do whats right. So it just comes from inner strength you have to push yourself to do your priorities and do them at the appropriate time. Remember, work first, then play - and you will always be happy. Don't procrastinate or you will regret it and be stressed out when you have to time left to study. Also, I suggest for you to study on a sofa or a desk (I prefer sofa because its more comfortable). Next time, try studying a few days before because it helps you retain information better, but since THIS test is tommorow just relax and try to remember as much as you can. Make flash cards, ask someone to test you on it, review it, take breaks...and good luck!!! If you have slope and y intercept on your test you can review your textbook or look up for some help online. You can send anything to my inbox if you need ANY more help WHATSOEVER again, good luck hunnie xoxox
Hey, to anyone who can help me i'll rate a 5!!...but this is for those who had read To Kill a Mockingbird...i was just wondering if you know what chapters really describe Atticus' character..THANX!

im going into 8th grade and im really nervous because today is the 'evaluation test.' Ive never ever started at a new schools before, because I've been going to the same district of schools for a while, and im really nervous. What kind of questions do they ask? because over the summer and I dont really study so I may have forgotten a thing or two..(or ten @_@) can someone give me in detail or somethign what kind of things they ask? thx!
I know you don't want to hear but I have to say it. You should have studied earlier for this. Okay, well since it is today and you have no option of studying, you need to get a good breakfast and stop panicking during the test. BUT, if you have time, I suggest reviewing a little bit of the things you did last year. This may refresh your memory, or you could bring some textbooks from last year in the car with you on the way to the evaluation test. If you don't know what's on your evaluation test, then I can't tell you either. I don't go to your school, but good luck on your test, I'm sure you'll do great!!
My parents payed for me and my brother to go to a private school. It was really expensive but thank god we got insurance so some of the money will come back to us if we deside not to go. Well my brother and i ended up going to public school where it's free, the thing is that the private school won't let us get the money back unless we go there for 15 school days. I have been arguing with my parents saying that i just started to make friends at the public school, and things are really going my way. Going to the private school for 15 days will make it really hard to go back to the public school. I really dont know what to do cause it's a lot of money we will get back, yet i am really startin to fit in at the public school.
since this is long I will rate high!!!!!!!!!!
You should definitely go back for 15 days at the private school. It would prove to your parents that you are unselfish and considerate. Don't worry though, if you make friends for 15 days at the private school - you can still get their contacts (e-mail, phone). Something I am sure about? 15 days of not being there will make nothing but a slight difference in your friendships at the public schol.
