Every week a section in my band class has a test on a piece of music. You have to play in front of everybody and I get really nervous. It's also a competition between you and your section, which makes me even more anxious. Sometimes, right before I play, I almost feel like I have to throw up. I'm really good at the music, but my nerves make me have a poor performance. What are some tips that can help me calm my nerves right before I play so I can relax and play well?
i had to do that last year in my band, all i did was force my self to play no matter what, i never praticed the pice but once and im really good at sight reading so that helped, but if you have a good friend in your section stand by them because for me it makes me more confy infront of the whole band, and remember everyone messes up at one point so dont feel bad.

I am in 8th grade, and my social studies teacher is really tough and he gave us an assignment to write a 3-4 page essay on an amendment. But I got stuck with articles 5,6,and 7 of the constitution. Its due this friday and today is tuesday.
Im just so confused. I started writting my draft, and it just seems like it all doesn't make sence to me. I cant seem to organize all the information which seems like a diferent language to me.
Im just really stressing out about this.
Will anyone give me some websites that you think would have correct information for me to understand? I tried google and I couldnt really understood what came up.
Or does anyone have any advice or knoledge about this? Thank you so much
i had to do that last year..im sorry i dont remember much about amendment #6 is the one i had but umm you can look in your social studues book and online for more info that is what i did but we had to make floats for them..really had to do but well have fun when you have to take the test on all of the ammendments that was really hard for me...

I've always dreaded the first day of school just because I don't deal with change very well. I know that it's not as bad as I think it'll be, it's always fine. But I still get panic attacks and get really sick the night before and that morning. Any advice on how I can overcome this?
i just started school on Aug 1st i wwas going in to highschool as a freshman i was so nervous that i didnt really eat anythign for about 1 week cuase my nerves were so jumpy and about all of my friends did the same thing..but the biggest thing you have to rember is that you still have your friends and they will be there for you they are probley fell the same way..umm try to calm your self down like count to 10 or tell ur self not to freek out .. at my 8th grade grad we were all tellign each other and think we cnat cry we cant cry and we didnt but we were pretty close..

i really need help see i can't get in front of people to present a project in front of my class i start sweating and feel like throwing up and i can't breath and everytime i go up to present a project everybody could see that i am nervous because the way my voice sounds if anybody could give me good advice i really really need it or i will be stuck like this forever. i rate high help a person that is in need PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

JUST MEMORIZE IT! trust me it is really more easer cause then u can move around and all i did that when i was in dare that drug program and i had to read my speach in front of everyine jusein a mic and on stage it was really nervewracking and ya just dont look @ some one that will make u laugh!
